THEY SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME FROM A+ TO F!!! I had to leave this office after only one visit for my children and having a crown done for myself. The office took over 1 year to accurately submit my claim for insurance. They failed to return phone calls, and I rarely had the opportunity to speak to a real person when I called. I had to request items multiple times. When I finally had enough, I requested my records. I faxed the form to them (after two requests for them to send it to me), I called the office on Monday morning and they said the information would be ready. When I showed up, they had no records. I had to return the next day for them, and when I took them to my new dentist, the information was incomplete and they still needed the panorex and bite-wing films! This is the most incompetent office I have ever experienced. The dentists may know what they are doing, but the front desk and office staff are clueless and frustrating. SO GLAD IM GONE FROM THEIR PRACTICE!!!

BEWARE! When a customer came in complaining about his billing/insurance nightmare I did not think it would happen to me! I am billed REPEATEDLY over and over for the same services! They asked for money upfront before I saw the doctor which I paid via credit card. This was suppose to be some of my co-pay. Starting receiving bills without credit card payment applied. Told during second visit I needed to pay. I had already paid IN FULL via check. ANY OFFICE THAT HAS AT LEAST SIX SIGNS ON THE FRONT DESK ASKING FOR PAYMENT SHOULD BE A RED FLAG! No one remembers receiving your money, posting your payment or they claim not to have received it....some different excuse every time. Pay by check and DO NOT SEND another until that one clears! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!. Canceled all future appointments and they still call! SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

When I first went to A plus dental the dentist seemed very friendly and well spoken. I have been sick for many years and as a result my teeth have taken a lot of damage. I was told that I needed three root canals and it was up to my insurance to chose to cover it or not. She stressed to me how she would include how medically necessary the procedures were since I am pregnant and also have Crohns disease for which I am prescribed Cimzia which cannot be taken with ANY infection. Mind you one of these teeth now have an abscess under it so I at this point havent taken my medicine for over a month. While talking with my insurance that medical necessity letter had never even been sent. I dont understand how someone could go out of there way to stress how bad this is for my unborn child and then not do their job.

The worse Dental Office. Dont go there. They never answer their calls when you need any type of customer service. You always get transfer to their answering service call center, who cant really help, they just take messages, and most of the time, if I am put on hold, they end up hanging up. They offer a discount plan membership for those who dont have dental insurance, which is a scam. Super expensive, and it doesnt cover all it says it supposed to cover. I needed a root canal, which it is supposed to be covered 100% with my level of membership and they said it would only cover 50%. Get an HMO plan instead through Delta Dental, 80% cheaper than Presidential and it cover the same and more.

Five stars isnt enough for the staff here at A+ Family Dental in Harleysville. Went in as a new patient today with a severe and I mean severe throbbing toothache. They immediately took me back, and gave me an X Ray, soon after the Dr came right in and numbed me up and did his exam.... He determined the tooth had to come out. Everyone was very pleasant and cheerful and professional. I also made an appointment for my daughter for her next 6 month exam. Will be going here once healed up for a cleaning as well. I think the people posting negative reviews are getting confused with the Quakertown location which yes does have ride staff and long wait times.

Literally just got off the phone with the receptionist. Had to call there because my husband insurance got changed. It was torture speaking to the receptionist. Just getting basic info was like pulling teeth. She was not willing to answer certain questions and when i asked her why should not give me all the info. requested she responded "what do you want from me" What a disgrace!!! WHAT DO I WANT FROM YOU???? I want you to answer my questions because i am having to leave the dentist I love!!! I canceled the appointment and got off the phone with her... Call me old dentist and will not be paying to be out of network...

Stay away from this dentist. They are rude and they want your money... Here are the issues I had: They lost my paperwork and I had to refill it out again. I had to wait over 30 minutes to see my doctor. One time I was waiting for 1.5 hours. I had multiple doctors since they were all going back home to their country. I never had a well speaken English doctor. They are hard to understand. Doctors share your tooth information with other doctors. Very improfessional. If I had a tooth problem, I prefer it to stay with me and the doctor and not with the rest of the staff. I had many more problems, but those are the highlights.

The doctors may be nice but the staff needs communication and organizational training. After setting up an appointment for 6 months and one day in advance -written in my calendar at the front desk following a checkup-, I take a day off work and arrive to be told that they have no record of the appointment. Blame is first laid on the computer then on the patient for coming in without getting a confirmation call the day before! No apology and no effort to correct the mistake was made - just told to reschedule. Be sure they put it in writing for you. For me - Im taking my business someplace else.

This is one of the worst dental practices ever!!!! They denied my family a cleaning because we didnt want an x ray. The attitude of the dental hygenist was unbelievable. He acted as if he were the dentist when in actuality we later found out that he wasnt!!! This place is a joke and I would be scared to have any work done there. All they want is the money from you and the insurance company. The owner must be a businessman concerned only about the bottom line.

My daughter went in to get her teeth cleaned, hygenist offered to seal her teeth- I stateed that he may seal any teeth that are 100% covered by her insurance, he looks i tup, seals her teeth and i get a bill for over $200! I went in to office, stated what happened and they said that they would take care of this, 8 months later I get a bill from a bill collector!!!! I called office and no answer, will not return my calls- I am taking my business elsewhere!
