Dr. Griffith and her staff are professional and attentive to all of your needs. Everything is explained to you before it is done, and they assure that you are as comfortable as possible while in the dental chair. Not only is the office exceptionally clean, the equipment used is state of the art. The staff are very gentle and genuine when caring for your teeth, which was really comforting to me since I, like many others, get nervous before going to the dentist. After having had braces twice, it was a disappointment that my teeth moved and became out of line when I reached my 20s. Dr. Griffith suggested Invisalign, and the outcome was amazing. Dr. Griffith went over every aspect of the Invisalign treatment with me, and answered all of my questions about the process. If anyone is interested in braces, but does not want to deal with the embarrassment that comes with having metal in their mouth, I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Griffith and her staff about Invisalign and how it works. The staff at the office is personable, friendly, and professional. Whether you are having your teeth cleaned, or having a root canal, you are made to feel very comfortable and are treated with the utmost care. As for the comment below, I have never had any issues with communication or billing. As most people know, insurance can be a tricky thing, and sometimes all you need to do is call up your insurance company to inquire about an unknown charge that may be a fault of the insurance company, not the office. Dr. Griffith and associates offers Teeth Bleaching and cosmetic dentistry in addition to a variety of other services most dental offices do not. You can have all of your needs met at this office because of the list of things that are offered. Overall I have had nothing but great experiences at this dental office!

Im only motivated to write a review when I find a person or business that provides exceptional service. Dr. Alex Millan at Modern Dentistry is one of those people. One afternoon I noticed sensitivity in a tooth that gradually worsened into the evening. Being a former football player I was used to discomfort/pain and thought I could tough it out until morning. Around 11pm the pain became so unbearable that I called Dr Alex. Not only was I able to get ahold of him on an emergency call, he got out of bed and met me at his office. An x-ray showed the need for a root canal and with some novocaine and a little temporary dental work he gave me relief from the agony. He made room in his schedule for me the next morning to come in and do some more work on the tooth. Since then I have been in a couple times for cleanings (best ever) and check ups and the staff is always super nice and professional. Ive always preferred dentists who are up to date on the latest technology and dental practices and thats what Modern Dentistry provides. They take care of billing my insurance so all I have to do is show up for my appointment. Its a true "Family Practice" with a kid friendly waiting room and off street parking. Five stars for Dr. Alex Millan and Modern Dentistry!!

The staff is friendly and overall it is a pretty relaxing atmosphere. The hygienists are wonderful, and the doctors seem knowledgeable, but only with regard to their work, not with any regard to insurance coverage or pricing. Be cautious when having any procedure done. You may want to take it upon yourself to check whether or not the procedures they suggest are actually covered by your insurance. Even when told by staff members that procedures are covered by insurance, it is NOT always the case and you may get a surprise bill after the procedure has already been completed. This office lacks proper communication with their patients. Make sure that you have everything in writing before undergoing any procedures, even what you may think is a routine cleaning. Asking questions does not always work. Minor issues over the years have been irritating, but not enough to search for a new dentist. A recent experience with their lack of communication has led to substantial amount of money owed on my part. When speaking to Dr. Griffith directly about the issue, she came off as arrogant and insulting and offered no resolution for the issue. It was quite shocking after being a loyal patient for so many years and has led me to find another dentist for me and my family.

Much like the other reviewer on here, i was screwed by these people. I had some work done, and was scheduled to go back over a month later. When i called to ask a question, everything was fine, then the next day i get a bill saying i owe them money because they dont take my insurance, which they had already told me they did over a month ago. Then when i called to inquire about the situation i ended up getting hung up on by the extremely rude front desk person named Sandy. These people are clueless about insurance and what they do and dont accept. Maybe i would be more understanding had they made this mistake once, but judging by the fact there are other people on here who said this as well, they obviously could care less about their patients.

I have been a patient with Dr. Griffith for a few years now. The one thing I love the most is walking into the front door and feeling like I am important. The staff is wonderful and always have a smile on their faces! Everything is offered at this practice. By my most recent experience with a tooth I was having a problem with I learned I needed a root canal. I was excited to hear I could get this treatment done in the office by a specialist. I have been very happy with all of my treatment I had done by Dr. Griffith and her staff! I would highly recommend checking out this practice. You will have a wonderful experience!

Paula the hygienist is awful, I specifically make my appointments with Bridget for that reason. Somehow my appointment was switched without my consent or knowledge to be with Paula instead of Bridget. Paula is just a negative presence and is extremely rough. She makes going to the dentist an awful experience. If you choose to go here, the only advice I have is to schedule you appointments with Bridget. Its sad because everyone else in the office is very pleasant and they make you feel welcomed but Paula ruins that experience. I will be switching dentists.

My husband and I have been coming to this practice for a few years now, and I was really nervous when management and doctors changed last year. But after meeting Dr.Millan and his staff my fear disappeared quickly. Office is clean, appointment are always on time, they send you text/email reminders before your appointment. Dr.Millan is patient, professional, friendly and make you feel comfortable. His assistant Meghan is awesome too!!! I pulled my children out of kids dental practice, and now the whole family comes here. We are all happy with the service!!

Dr. Millan and his staff are wonderful and professional experts. The office is clean and inviting and even has toys for kids to play. My 3yo daughter and I enjoy our visits. You know the place is great when the staff brings their own family members there for treatment. I even converted my husband to a patient because we liked it so much. Easy to find, great downtown location and lots of friendly appointment reminders made for a smooth process.
