5 days ago had a terrible experience with this place regarding laser hair reduction. The laser procedure performed at Ringpfeil Dermatology caused widespread burns, and in some areas the damage was so severe that the skin completely came out, leaving deep exposed flesh. I am currently suffering pain and discomfort from those burns, being medically treated, and do not wish this for anyone else, hence this review. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone, my advice: RUN from there. I have to use a mirror to see the area treated, so during the procedure I could not see what she was doing, but complained and screamed about the excessive pain. However, she insisted that it was normal pain in that area, asked me to “squeeze the ball” that she gave me, and that it would be fine with aloa vera use (which obviously was not the case). At this point I have a lot of pain, and I am also afraid of permanent scaring and that the darkening of some areas may be permanent. This is such an outrageous case of malpractice that I am at loss of words to express my outrage. After the procedure I went home and kept using aloa vera as instructed. I subsequently called their office when I realized the severity of the damage while looking at a mirror, and Dr. Ringpfleil met with me and prescribed antibiotic and also a corticosteroid. However, what was even more disappointing was that she kept defending that everything was done right, that she did not know what happened! I previously had laser hair removal (on the legs and some other areas) performed at different places where I previously lived, and I know from those previous experiences that if done properly with the right settings and equipment it can be a safe and effective procedure (for example, I had hair removed from my legs 12 years ago, it was safe and the hair never came back).

I went here 2 days ago for a glycolic peel and a few minor extractions. The following day, I noticed in 2 of the areas where I had the extractions done, they looked as though the skin was sliced open and were beginning to form scabs. Ive had many facials and extractions done at other practices in the past and never had this as a result, so being concerned I called the office and they asked me to email pictures. Dr Ringpfiel called me back later in the day after reviewing the pictures and insisted that this was "normal" because I had the glycolic peel after the extractions. She then proceeded to.tell.me she is surprised that I was concerned because I should have already known that redness is a result of the procedure. I tried to explain that I understand and expected the redness, but what I didnt expect was to have 2 cuts/scabs from.simple extractions. Long story short, she was completely dismissive and kept referring to the cuts i had as "redness" and insisted that everything was done correctly and that everything is normal. Will not be returning.

This is a top-notch medical staff. From both a professional and personal perspective, you cannot do better. Dr. Ringpfeil was thorough, complete, understanding and appreciated my concerns in both a warm and brilliant way. I came away with the maximum level of confidence regarding my diagnosis and treatment. From the initial consultation to follow-up, this is the way an office works when it works right. Her staff - from the professional and engaging reception professionals through her medical assistants, nurses and technicians: (especially Jill Basile!!) - mirror her professionalism. They are, to a person, caring, warm, compassionate, thorough and expert in their care and treatment. Jill must get extra shout-outs for being the Special person...and warm caregiver - that she is. My particular situation, involving both elective and non-elective care and treatment, resolved brilliantly.

I would recommend Dr. Ringpfeil to anyone seeking an outstanding dermatologist with a focus on patient care and comfort. I recently relocated and needed Dr. Ringpfeil to provide my records to a new doctor for me. Not only was this done promptly, but I also contacted Dr. Ringpfeil for her opinion on treatment options provided to me by my new dermatologist. We were able to communicate quickly and effectively so that I can proceed with the right treatment for me. Dr. Ringpfeil and her staff have always been very professional, courteous and kind. They have all gone above and beyond in terms of patient care and clearly set the bar high for providing outstanding service. This is an exceptional practice and I would recommend Dr. Ringpfeil and her team to anyone seeking a dermatologist!

I did not get good results from this practice. I had been using another practice to have re-occuring blemishes removed for a number of years with great success. That practice closed and moved to delaware, so I made an appointment with Ringfeil. While the laser tech was very nice, after two sessions, and $250, my blemishes were still there, and now they were pissed off. I even suggested to her the second appointment how the other practice used the laser so that it worked, but she persisted with the same treatment as the first time, when it didnt work. So I gave up on Ringpfeil. If I hadnt had this same procedure done successfully many times before, I might not be giving them only two stars. But this indicates to me that somebody is missing some laser training somewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ringpfeil since late 2011. Id like to note Dr. Ringpfeils meticulousness in her examinations. She is well-prepared and extremely communicative. She listens and acknowledges any symptoms conveyed to her. She is a proponent of both conventional Western medicine and homeopathic/holistic/herbal-based Eastern medicine and has consistently suggested to me treatment modalities pertaining to these two disciplines. Dr. Ringpfeil greatly cares about the patients physical and mental wellness; she has encouraged me to email her with any questions, clarifications, and progress reports and has replied promptly and cogently to all such communications. I highly recommend Dr. Ringpfeil.

I am very active and like spending lots of time out in the sun, so finding a good dermatologist is really important to my active lifestyle. I remember the first time I tried to get an appointment here and the staff did a great job getting me in with just short notice. Ive seen Dr. Ringpfeil a few of times since that first day and Im always really happy with my time there and the results. Dr. Ringpfeil and her staff never makes me feel rushed, they are extremely knowledgeable, always explain the root-cause of the problem and all my options, and to top it off the front desk have been super charming and nice. Love this office and highly recommend Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology!!

Love Marina & Dr. Ringfielf! Dr. Ringfeil is an outstanding dermatologist and Marina Lesser is my absolute favorite esthetician. Ive been a patient here for several years and I love the professionalism, respect for running on time by never making me wait for an appointment, that they are always using cutting edge treatments and the cleanliness of the office. Dr. Ringfeil is very thorough and loves to educate patients on skin care. Ive being seeing Marina for years and I cant say enough great things about her. Marina takes great care of my skin, addresses my concerns and educates me on taking care of my skin and she is a pleasure to be around.

I recently saw Dr. Nina Abraham for a tumor and hair loss. This woman did not remove my tumor and when I tried to explain my experience with hair loss, she immediately related it to hair relaxers and heat because Im African American. How can you diagnose someone without running test? This woman dismissed my concerns. Poor bed side mannor. If you have no experience with a certain condition then say it and recommend a different Doctor. I will never refer this place to anyone nor will I return. I should not be in a heated argument with any Doctor. Im paying you to help me. I think this woman just graduated college with a C minus. Horrible!
