As far as Dr. Weishars skills as a dermatologist, shes tops. Unfortunately, she has delegated much of that part of the practice to physician assistants and leaves me with little reason to schedule an appointment. I have also used her services for filler injections and was less than happy with the results. On the day of the consult, she said she had time to do the procedure and so I went for it. Initially, the results looked good (but my face was swollen) and I left. On the follow up, I told her I wasnt happy with the results. She was arrogant and said I started a bit late in life, blah, blah, blah. Couldnt she have said that to begin with and saved me 1700.00? She proceeded to do a one time pro bono round of shots and I left there thinking that I was a total twit for bothering and letting her talk to me like I was victimizing her. So, my face still has all the crevices and theres a brown spot on my chin that wasnt there before the procedures. Live and learn. Again, shes a top dermatologist if you get her. If not, check out the other practices in the area with less beauty hype.

Took several months to make the appointment. Understaffed office. Technician provided the anesthesia and it wore off before the doctor saw me in the office. Painful. Wanted to have several things done, but she said it would take too long and wanted me to come back (additional co-pay). I told her that my schedule was tight and she said it could happen soon. Why couldnt that have happened in the first place? She did not spend more than 5-10 minutes with me. At the termination of the visit, I asked if she could phone in the prescription for my mail prescription company, she said I could do it. I am constantly receiving e-mails from her office asking about different aging solutions, and I do not know how she will have time for these things if she does not have time for routine visits. I think again it is insurance related and going after the big $$ . I am off to a different dermatologist.

I have melasma (hyper pigmentation spots) on my face. When I first saw Dr. Weishar, it was pretty dark and visible. She took the time to explain the condition, why it occurs, and the best approach for my skin. My skin looks so much better now. We have learned that a conservative but consistent treatment is necessary. Every time I see her, she listens to my concerns and takes the time to discuss them. I learn so much about my skin and treatments from her. Dr. Weishar is also forever improving her processes and products. For a while, I couldnt tolerate whitening cream, but she located a pharmacy to compound the product and now I can use the cream without side effects. Its the same for other products and services. She has consistently found great products for her clients to use. I wouldnt have known about these products if not for her.

I have been under Dr. Weishars care for many years. After having long suffered with acne as a teen, and then again as an adult, Dr. Weishar was the only dermatologist who was able to "cure" my adult acne. Furthermore, she has suggested a number of skincare improvements that have drastically improved the way I feel about my skin, which has always been a love/hate relationship. Dr. Weishar is so knowledgeable about the latest advancements in laser and new pharmacologic procedures. I highly recommend her and her amazing staff!

I am definitely making Dr. Weishar my "go to" dermatologist, and as a patient who has experience melanoma, this is a very serious decision with regard to my health. I know I am in great and experienced hands.

Dr. Weishar has done cosmetic work for me for almost twenty years. She knows I like the soft, subtle, and natural look. She does not push unnecessary procedures. She is always ready to listen and act accordingly. My only problem is the wait time, sometimes it exceeds fifteen minutes. The staff are most friendly and kind. I would recommend Dr. Weishar to my friends and have already done so.
