PLEASE stay await from this office if you dont want to have headache or angry later . I am a new patient with this office. I will never come back this office again. The lobby is very nice. Waited 15 minutes in the lobby. Waited 45 minutes in the room, the first person showed up is practical. Waited for 20 minutes more, finally doctor showed up. The doctor was friendly and spoke with me for 2 minutes, that was all. BILLING Department is HORRIBLE. I had cold; therefore, I visit this office. They charged my insurance and asked me to pay the total is $92 for the visit. My insurance statement listed that I had Depression and Alcohol screens. I am not a metal, smoking or drinking person, but they claimed that they did those test for me. I called my insurance for the detail of the cover. My insurance contacted the office and asked them for detail. The office told my insurance was "I was pretty sick" when I came to their office. That is a how they treat their patients? Is that because I was very sick and they can charge anything they want? Thank you very much for a lesson that I will stay await from you detweilerfamilymedicine!

I cant believe it. What ever you do dont go here. Some of the doctors that have been there for awhile are good. But, my girlfriend recommended me to go for pain. She goes there and has no problem getting strong pain relief for an ongoing problem. So, I went and a Dr. Kessler waited on me, and treated me like I was drug seeking. I practically had to beg him to get a few 5 mg Vicodins. Few meaning 30 of them. I was going to make them my primary care physician until that happened. He pushed me out of the office, and didnt even write a referral for an MRI on my shoulder. Doesnt make any sense, especially when an adolescent kid can go to a methadone clinic, claim that he is a heroin addict, and get enough Methadone to kill a horse. So, I ended up going to the hospital for the pain afterwards, and they gave me an IV of Dalaudid. Finally had pain relief after suffering for almost a week.

Nurse Alison the nurse at the front desk should not be allowed to have communication with any kind of sick people Let alone anyone at all. She would not even provide her last name, How my supposed to trust her with my personal medical information. I called in the state of panic and explained to her that I have recently experienced three grand mal seizures. She told me that this was not her problem and to go to my local emergency room even though I have been a patient For over five years. Instead of helping me with the information on how I can call myself down through a panic attack she judged my condition and made it even worse. I am just appalled and disgusted that this practice has Incompetent rude women working Behind the desk that could care less About my medical situation. This is just very sad and disappointing.

My experiences with Detweiler Family Medicine have been terrific. The quality of care is excellent. I work in the financial service industry so I am acutely aware of the importance of prompt and friendly service. I have always experienced both at DFM. Perhaps most important is the quality of care I receive. I greatly appreciate the personal attention Dr. Shearer gives me during my visits. She takes the time to walk me through a diagnosis and has the patience to answer my often numerous questions. Her explanations are in laymans terms so I never leave a visit with any doubts. I would highly recommend DFM to anyone.

Detweiler Family Medicine is the best Primary Care office Ive been to. The staff is prompt and courteous, and Dr. Parke takes really good care of me. One thing that makes Detweiler Family Medicine different from other primary care offices Ive been to is that they have a pharmacy on the premises. This way when the doctor gives me a prescription Im actually able to get the medicine on the spot before I leave. Other doctors offices leave me having to drive all around town to get the medicine I need. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been patients at Detweiler Family Medicine for several years. We appreciate the courtesy, professionalism, and kindness of the doctors, nurse practitioners, and support staff. They have such extensive office hours that it has never been difficult to schedule an appointment. They also have a dispensary in the office that fills prescriptions at very good prices. That is so convenient!

I love Detweiler Family Medicine. I see Michelle, and Katlyn, and theyre both awesome. They always remember me, and what was going on the last time I was in. They really care about you, and will do what is best for you. They are also open 7 days a week, and can usually get you in the same day you call in if youre sick. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Highly recommended.

The office is big and has plenty of seats. The reception folks are great whether live at the office or on phone. They are the only doctors office that we both use. We are absolutely thrilled with their service and their repect towards us. We will be with them as long as we live in the area!

Horrible customer service skills, I waited 45 minutes just to see the doctor that said she couldnt help me. Every time I call Im on hold for 20 minutes, staff has poor attitudes and way too pricey.
