Word for word what all the 4 review posted before mine say.... WORD FOR WORD!!!! I do agree the staff is nice when you GET there, and the doctors are nice when you finally get in to to SEE them...but getting ahold of them is IMPOSSIBLE, you constantly get the "on break" message long after the "break" hours are over... and when you do get to the typical push 1 for this person, push 2 for that person etc. prompts, I am on hold on the phone 20-30 minutes before a human picks up, and when they do, they just take a message and it can take literally DAYS for someone or even a doctor to call you back!!! And though I havent had to go more than a dozen or so times to the office all the years Ive lived in Conshohocken....every time Ive waited a good 20 minutes or more past my scheduled time. I get that things come up to delay appointments...but every time Ive gone? Prescriptions...forget it... if you are waiting for something that could sersiously affect your health, DONT bother calling it in...stop at the office and demand it be called in while youre there to witness it being done... or just take yourself to the hospital because this practice is HORRIBLE with calling in prescriptions and their refill authorizations!!! I am currently waiting 5 days now for someone to get back to me in regards to authorizing a refill, just a simple update would be courteous if for some reason it cant be filled... Ive called several times...so has CVS...for 5 days now....horrible horrible service!!!! Ive taken the steps in the meantime today to find another primary physician practice and I highly recommend you do the same for you and your family and DO NOT bother going here. Ive lived here 13+ years now and NOTHING about the practice has changed...it just took me this long to decide to change because I dont go to the doctors or get sick very often at all, but I am getting older and cant have this practice as the one I need to rely on for my health in my older years.

Probably the worst patient service possible. I had to make 3 trips for referral paperwork that was supposed to have been sent and wasnt, when I confronted the woman responsible she said "Oh they got it and must have lost it" , even though I was there when the woman who they we sending it to called them right in front of me to have it faxed, and we both waited 20 minutes by the fax machine for it, and she called again, and they had closed for the day. If you call for an appointment, you get a recording stating business hours, and not to call during the 2 hours they break for lunch, even if you call after lunch, you still get the message, or wait on hold. I waited an entire hour of my lunch break to get through, and didnt, so I had to leave work early to make an appointment in person. It seems as if nobody there gives a damn. When youre sick, this is NOT how you need to be treated. This was not just one time, but it seems to be the norm. Luckily I dont get sick much, but when you keep getting the same lousy care, its time to find another practice. Also when the doctor I was seeing left the practice, they wouldnt give any information about where he went, or why he left. It seems that I must not have been the only one who has had this type of experiences with them, if you mention their name around town here, all you hear are negative comments.

I was a patient at Conshohocken Family Practice for around 12 years. I just changed my primary care as the quality of care and service at CFP is not acceptable. Wait times are ridiculous - the last 4-5 times I had an appointment there, I waited for an average of an hour. The last two times, I was seen by someone who was not my primary doctor. He didnt listen to my concerns/needs/problems either time and I left with problems with my prescriptions, including one not being refilled despite it being both needed and dangerous to stop without a transitional period. This was one of the reasons for my visit that I mentioned to the Dr several times - to get a check so I could have my script refilled! Numerous calls about this by my pharmacy and myself led to no response. Finally after about 3 weeks of calling, I ended up getting called back by a random staff member that was incredibly rude. Within the last several years, the doctors at this practice have been less concerned with listening to the needs of the patient and just pushing and rushing to get you out the door. This last issue with my medication was the final straw. Im done with CFP.

Edit: This is the absolute worst example of customer service in the health care industry i have ever seen . -They are impossible to get ahold of. Everytime you call at a reasonable hour of the day their voice message system will say they are on break. Normally this is the message you get until they close for the day. -If by some miricle you do get though and they are not on break, the system hangs up on you about 90% of the time. -I tried unsuccessfully to contact them over the phone for 4 days straight. If i had a legitimate medical problem i likley would have died before i got their attention. When i finally got ahold of them, the didnt return my call. when i called them back they said they would phone in my perscription. They called back and told me it was done, of course when i went to pick it up it was never called in. I would strongly reccomend against this practice due to how horrible their service is. Their staff is nice but if you never get to talk to them what is the point. I will be switching doctors when i can find a replacement.

Dont want to make assumptions about someone with an obviously traumatic head injury, but one of the doctors seems to have had their mental acuity challenged and its contagious to the rest of the staff. Frequently have wrong dosage filled on prescriptions, also had an unwanted refill costing $100 filled that no they nor the insurance company can do anything about, just because this doctor forgot a conversation in 30 seconds. Keep being promised the office manager will let me know how to handle it by the end of the day, and thats been told to me on 3 separate days and counting now. Girlfriend also went in with a bad fever and was given no help, but the Urgent Care was able to help her later. They also arent able to take allergy or any other treatments from doctors out of the Einstein network, but they will gladly schill for appointments with specialists if you ask for any medical advice that a general practitioner should be able to handle.

Dr. Rubin is great, but I have major issues with this office. Their phone system doesnt seem to work properly, Ive never gotten through in under 20 minutes. If you need to ask a question, reach a nurse, or get your test results, expect to call 2 or 3 times before actually getting a response. The office actually closes for an hour mid-day and in the afternoon for an hour as well, and if you get the answering service they refuse to take a message unless you discuss you personal medical issue with them, even if youre following up on a message where youve already left the details but no one has called you back. I will probably look for a new doc this year just because the office shenanigans are so frustrating. What good is having tests done if you cant get your results without spending hours on hold.
