Living in Upper Bucks your choice of general practitioners is limited. I choose St Lukes because of their proximity to where I live. I have been a patient there for over two years now. My first sign shouldve the over scheduling. When you walk in for your appt. there is often times 8-10 people waiting to see one doctor. My second sign was when I told the doctor that my former Dr. had wanted me to get colonoscopy due to a prior surgery I was told St. Lukes board does not recommend that I get one due to my age. They werent even aware of my surgery even though I had brought it up and it is in my records. The third was prescribing care that was clearly not advisable due to a existing condition. The 4th and final straw was when I was scheduled to come in for blood work and a person that came in after me was taken before me, when I protested I was told it was because I was using my phone. I was, I was sending a business email. I have many guys who depend on me to feed their families. My job doesnt stop when I go to the doctors. But what really got me hot under the collar was when the nurse said I wasnt scheduled for blood work and then started to tell the entire waiting area the other reason I was there which was extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. I am a patient man and understand people make mistakes. The day I become perfect is the day I expect others to do so. But I do expect a minimal level of professionalism and privacy. This office I assume is St. Lukes training office or something of the ilk. I would not recommend going there unless in an emergency.

Ive been seeing Dr. Kristi Kotz now since I have been about 14, Im now 31. Dr. Kotz streamlined a very perplex process and cared for me with the utmost concern from start to end. One of the worst times of my life (Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis,) was calmed by the hand and knowledge of Dr. Kotz and I am very grateful to have her as my primary care physician on a non-neurological level. All of her advice and coordination led to my beginning to heal. Everybody in the office is extremely pleasant, hence your experience will be.

This is by far the best general family practice I have ever used. The receptionists are great and it has a nice small town feel, probably because it is a small town practice. I often wish I hadnt moved Ottsville because I miss being able to just drive up the hill when I needed something checked out.
