Game Changer

Beware of this place! They dont appear to know what they are doing. The Dentist woman in charge talks a good game when taking your money(and wants it up front) but will not work with you at all if there is a problem with the service that they were paid for, in fact, if you question her, she gets very defensive and down right rude and says "I warned you" and thats it, no discount or a little something off, nothing. Apparently, she doesnt understand that some people are not made of money and that these procedures are expensive enough but to take almost $500 and do nothing, that is unexceptionable for us and our child! Then, they were willing to let our child wait 3+ months till they could do the next procedure while their teeth were literally rotting out and the money we already dished out to them is just gone. Im so very disappointed and disgusted with this place and the way our child and us the customer were treated, never, ever ever, ever, ever, ever, again...

Sunshine Dental insisted I bring a copy of my sons birth certificate or other document declaring I was his mother simply because he was adopted. After many visits to CHOP, Dupont, and many other local offices, I was shocked that this would be required. After speaking with a lawyer friend there is no reason this should be needed, he has our last name, and is covered under our insurance, therefore there should be no question of who is parents are. We will happily be searching for anothr dentist, particularly one who has a sensitivity towards adoption, as well as an understanding of what is and is not needed to treat a patient.

We love Dr. Jeannette and her staff. The kids enjoy going there and theyve had to have some extensive work and they still look forward to going to the dentist. All of the office staff are professional but very sweet.

We love Sunshine Dental! Dr. Jeanette is great with the kids and very thorough. Jill, the front desk receptionist, is just wonderful!
