I have EXTREMELY high anxiety in regards to any kind of dental work. I waited 16 years from my last dentist visit until I worked up the courage (and the tooth pain!) to email Dr. Gotwalts office. I had done a lot of research on dentists in my area, and I chose Dr. Sara based on her stellar reviews and the fact that she seemed really fun :) Jody (front desk) was so nice and told me that she completely understood my fears and that everything in their power would be done to make me comfortable. She really wasnt kidding! From the first appointment, I could tell that this dental practice was different from all the others I had been to. Its decorated beautifully and all the dental procedure chairs look out onto huge windows with nice scenery. Dr. Sara met with me before anything else, and she really got to know me. It instantly made me trust her. I told her how nervous I was, and made a special point to tell her about my sensitive gums. After having a genuinely good time with her and her awesome assistant, Katie, we had a plan to fill some cavities (they fit me in last minute before a long field trip with my school) and have a cleaning. Before I left, Dr. John came in and introduced himself, thanking me for coming there. I felt special! Dr. Sara believes in no pain, and she delivers :) I didnt feel a thing during some pretty gnarly fillings. Char gave me a cleaning too, and offered to put some numbing gel around my gums so I wouldnt feel any sensitivity. After my mouth was feeling good again, I made a 6 month appointment and was good to go. Dr. Sara sent a hand-written letter to my home in the interim, and again I felt very special! For the first time in 16 years, I showed up for my 6 month cleaning appointment with NO cavities, and I feel like a million bucks! Its awesome to feel like your dentist and everyone else that works there really cares about you. Go to Dr. Gotwalt, especially if you are a scaredy cat like me :)

This is the best dentist office Ive ever been to. I say office because the whole team is great. The office also has an amazing panoramic view of the beautiful country surroundings from each dental chair. Dr. John started as my dentist then has been a mentor to me since I was a child. He started by paying me for each book I would read during my summer break. He welcomed me to his home for Thanksgiving dinner during my time in need. He helped me get braces. He came to my wedding. His daughter, Dr. Sara is chip off the old block. She is just as thoughtful and caring as her father. I am deeply dissapointed my wife asked me to switch to a dentist in our network so we can save money for our first baby. Otherwise I would have continued paying the "out of network" cost to stay with Dr. John. He is worth every penny. I recommend this office to everyone. I hope my next health insurance plan will cover his office because I want my children to grow up going to his office the same I did. You can be totally confident they are providing the best care possible.

This place is amazing! My family has been going to them for years! Every time its a perfect checkup no mistakes. No "oh it probably can get fixed" its a yes or no answer every time! These guys are a great team and they know what they are doing. Ive recently got my chipped teeth, and they are my bottom front. So they built them up with temporary ones. They recently fell out, but thats because they are temporary. I chose to have temporary. Yes they suggested crowning but Im stubborn so I didnt take the option. But they give you so many options of what can be done! So they are fixing me up. So what do they do. They make a mold first of what they are gonna crown, and then schedule you 2-3 weeks later so that way everything is ready and on the next scheduled date, boom! You got new teeth! I highly recommend this place to anyone! They work well with costs, and everyone is so friendly! If you havent gone to these amazing people. Youre missing out! Love you guys!!!

Whats not to love about this staff?!!!! My family has been going here for about 5+ years now. Their service has been exceptional!!! From the moment you walk through the door, youre always greeted with a warm hello from Tia and Jody. They are courteous, professional and personal! All the hygienist are great and friendly even if theyre not cleaning your teeth. My hygienist Char does an amazing job and she too is very personable which makes the experience even better! Dr. John or as I like to say Dr. G and Dr Sara are the best dentists Ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. Other dentist may be very good, but they are a cut above the rest! I cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone at this office. I believe what makes them stand out is the fact that they treat you like family. Their expertise, positivity, kind and caring nature is what keeps us coming back!!!

Dr John, Sarah and their support staff are quite simply the best, hands down. I have recommended them to many friends and everyone of them have thanked me for the referral after their first visit. Tia and Jody greet everyone with a smile and take care of every little detail. The staff and very professional but treat you like family. After 23 years as a patient I have seen many changes, all for the better. New technology on an ongoing basis, but good old fashioned courtesy and friendliness have remained a constant throughout. As most of my interaction is with Char and Megan for routine cleanings, and they are wonderful, I must send out a special kudos to them. Thank you all.

We all like to go places and be around people who make us feel welcome, accepted, and happy. I was new to the area and introduced to Dr John in 1988 through Welcome Wagon. From the first visit, I was not just the next patient in the chair, a relationship developed and Dr John and his staff made it their business to learn about my needs and me. The care over 29 years has been phenomenal and the staff, friends, make each visit a comfortable experience, all the while delivering exceptional care. I have always have been heard, never left feeling like something was missed or questions went unanswered. Laughter is the norm but the care is utmost professional by all. You will see.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. John for many years, and now are fortunate to be patients of Dr. Sara. We have been blessed to know most of the staff on a personal and patient level, so I feel very comfortable rating all the staff and the practice as "first class". The bi-annual pilgrimage to the office for our checkup/cleanings is an appointment that we always look forward to due to the great staff, their personal touch on each and every visit, and most importantly their friendship. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring, professional dentistry staff, this is the truly one, and I would highly recommend you give them a call and schedule an appt.
