AWFUL. Wanted me to get ALL teeth capped and used scare tactics (You can get infections, puss etc) when my new dentist said I only needed 8-10 caps.) Asked for a certain dental product and she coldly indignantly insisted "We didnt discuss that". WE did-- she just forgot. Made me pay $20 for my own dental records (2 pieces of paper) of when I left this awful place. Initially refused to send my new dentist the records via email because the OM did not know how (to email the records). Did not want to email the records to my NEW dentist "because I already got a paper copy of my records" (paper copy did not have enough detail). Techs are fine but office personal and dentist are cut from the same cloth: rude, cold, unprofessional, bad information and bad diagnosis. Wanted me to get services I did not need. She does not even seem to like her own profession by her demeanor. USES "DEMANDFORCE" (online "reputation repairer" TO BOLSTER HER RATINGS AND IMPROVE HER BAD RECORD.) Why is she a dentist?

Dentist was rude, she seemed like she didnt even feel like doing her job. When we came back instead of saying hello she got smart and said I didnt need to sit or even be in the back with my 4 yr old. I thought that was super unprofessional of her to even make a statement like that. She said shes 4 yrs old so she can sit on her own. I told her that was not an issue so i proceeded to sit down and she said Im gonna need that chair. Then I asked if theres anywhere for parents to sit and she said parents dont usually come back. I told her i was never informed of that rule and theres a better way to say that so Im looking into another dentist because I dont like her attitude. My child was so ready to go to the dentist today to say hello but she didnt get a chance to speak to her because the dentist came in the way she did. She didnt introduce herself or say hello, shes very unpleasant.

I just had the best experience at the dentist today! I am so glad I found Ghent Family Dentistry, LLC because they were amazing!! A couple years ago I had an awful visit at another place that definitely ruined my thoughts of ever wanting to visit any dentist again. When I called this morning Gina was so patient and polite! She assured me I would be in great hands and boy was she right! Everyone in the office was so kind, caring, extremely patient with me and full of honest knowledge and love for what they do! When the Dr. came in she explained and showed me what I needed to make my smile better and pulled my wisdom tooth out so fast and left me without the crazy pain I had experienced before! These girls rock! Highly recommended!

Horrible!! Dr. Cauthen informed me that I had 10 cavities back in 2011. I didnt believe this and went to get a second opinion and found out that I actually only had 1 cavity and a replacement filling!!! Ive been to several dentists and have had many more x-rays since then and Ive always had great checkups with no cavities (so she was certainly making this up that I had 10 cavities at the time). She charges way too much for absolutely unnecessary procedures. She is also very rude to her staff and doesnt explain procedures properly to her patients. Please find another dentist and get a 2nd opinion, Im so glad that I did. I cant believe she still has a license to practice dentistry!
