Every animal Ive taken here has past away shortly after. They say theyre good with exotics but I feel they really arent. I took my gerbil in when she was very ill and was criticized for keeping her with her cage mates for the visit. He obviously didnt think that the stressful situation would be hard on her and having her children with her would calm her down. He also didnt even take into consideration that the other 2 were taking care of her and bringing her food and trying to keep her alive. After instructed against my better judgement I separated them and she died a day later. Same thing happened with my rabbit only worse. I took her in with gi stasis and he didnt give me any pain medicine for the poor baby! After a week of following his instruction she had gotten worse. I had done my research and everything I read contradicted everything he was telling me to do. I contacted a local rabbit rescue and asked for advice. I was told to take her to another vet (which since I had just wasted $200 at good shepard I couldnt afford.) Luckily the rescue comped the visit for me and a member even tried to help me nurse my little girl back to health. Unfortunately she was too far gone at this point and died a few days later. If I had just followed my instincts with both cases my babies would still be here. Dr Ibrahim is extremely rude also and belittles you no matter what The reviews plastered all over the walls in the office are all fake. If your a good vet you shouldnt have to hang reviews on your walls He even told my cousin (a licensed groomer) that her bulldogs ears were in horrible shape when they were perfectly fine and cared for. Obviously just in it for the money and not to help pets or their owners If you care about your pets DO NOT GO HERE. Theyre are plenty of better vets in the area and they are so much more reasonably priced and understanding

I dont have enough words, or space, to describe how wonderful Dr I is or how much he has done for my animals. I originally found Good Shepherd via referral from another vet as someone who would offer a discount on services for a cat I rescued. I was impressed that he would want to help people help animals, and made an appointment. My first visit was wonderful, I transferred all my fur babies, and have taken all my animals to him exclusively for 8 years. Dr I has treated my cats, dogs, and exotics. He has done equally well with all of them. The office is clean, safe, and comfortable. The staff have always been amazing- professional, caring, pleasant, organized. Dr I has treated all my pets through health issues, emergencies, multiple surgeries- I am confident in saying that many of my babies would not have lived if it werent for the extraordinary care he has provided in so many ways. He has stayed overnight at the office with animals, handled late night emergencies, and made many other accommodations to help animals. He donates his time and services to help shelters and community. Dr I always takes the time to fully explain everything, never rushes appointments, is patient and kind, wonderful with the animals and people, and truly cares about the health of his patients not just the money. Dr I goes above and beyond, always. I simply could not recommend a vet more.

MUST READ I took my rabbit there and they were great! I was greeted and as soon as I walked in I sat down for not even 2 minutes and got into the room. They were so nice. I would of most definitely went back there but a vet should not make this mistake. Plus I dont know why you need to pay $50 for someone to look at a rabbits ears,mouth/teeth, eyes and structure. Really what is this world coming to..... I called to schedule a nail trim, THATS IT. After I was expecting $15 total. THEY SAID $65 I was pretty upset. They said on the phone when I scheduled an appointment it would be $15 and thats it. I first asked if they trimmed rabbits nails, they said yes. Then I asked if they needed a full on look by a vet she said it was not needed. So then they charged $50 on the vet appointment. I would of give full five stars if they wouldnt of made that mistake. They of course couldnt give that trip free but could at least somehow taken off a little money for that huge mistake. Im young and all those vet bills come out of my pocket. My advice is when you ask about something, make sure its clear. I would love to go back to get a nail trim, but I dont think Id ever want to go back with what a mistake they made.

Back in June 2015 my cat started wretching non stop. I was recommended to go to Dr. I at Good Sheperd. My cat ended up having to have an X-ray, ultrasound and emergency surgery along with other meds. He received amazing treatment at Good Sheperd and the total bill wouldve been 2x what I paid had i gone to the emergency vet. The staff was very kind and did not mind that I called 27 times a day because Im a nervous freak when it comes to my kids (human and feline). More recently, my cat started showing symptoms of cystitis or something along that nature on a Saturday afternoon. Of course all the vets were closed, so I started to panic because these infections, though easily treatable, can also be deadly in a short amount of time. I called Dr. I on Sunday morning. He apologized because he was not available until after 4pm because it was his daughters birthday! I felt terrible for bothering him on his daughters birthday but relieved he would see my kitty that day. We are so lucky to have found a vet who cares enough about our kitty that he scheduled a visit with us right on his daughters birthday! Thank you Dr. I!
