This is one of the most frustrating and difficult companies. There is no way to call and get an appointment to be fitted for equipment or to see what you are buying. The office is out of the city and there is no way to call them directly, even tho they say you need an appointment to go out there. I have spent hours and hours with trying to order, searching for orders that were sent to a wrong address and trying to return materials that were not ordered. This is one of the worst companies that you can deal with, and I have had to for over 12 years. Today, after wasting 2 hours of my time, and talking to four people, and asking two of them to change my phone in their records from the house phone I had 8 years ago to the current one, I finally thought I was on the verge of getting an appointment. Only to be told that they will send a request for the appointment to the local branch who will call me. I am done., This is a terrible way to treat people.

Apria Healthcare cared for me very well 20 years ago when I was first diagnosed with OSA, and 10 years ago when I got a new C-PAP. This year - it took them over a week to get my new CPAP to me. The therapist did not consult with me about preferences (I do not want the ramp feature). The new machine - ResMed AirSense 10 - wakes me, on average, 15 times a night by ramping the pressure down. I have called, requesting to speak with a respiratory therapist, and my doctors office has now called twice to have a therapist call me. I have A-fib and high blood pressure. This new machine is making my condition worse, but Apria does not respond. Yet their customer service people end every call with "Thanks for being what makes Apria Health Care great!" It used to be a reliable company. What has happened?!

Their Medicare contract states they will come to your home, deliver your equipment, set it up and instruct you on how to use it. Apria made me come to their office and pick it up. All they did was hand me the box and say "Bye".

Website states that they rent adjustable beds but was told over the phone "they do not do that any more". Maybe should change the website.
