While vacationing in the Carolinas, our family was involved in a very serious car accident. After being released from a significant stay in the hospital, my family, and particularly my father (who was most seriously injured in the accident with a fractured neck and 7 broken ribs) was not able to travel back to our home state for some time. We desparately needed help as we continued to recover at my aunt and uncles home in Greensboro. Not knowing much about the Greensboro area, I googled for answers and stumbled upon ComForcare Home Care. I made a call and spoke with Richard Bober, Owner. I was amazed how quickly he grasped our situation, and he put in motion the help we needed immediately (and I didnt give him much lead time!) For several weeks he provided the best in round-the-clock home care for my father. Because I had such confidence and trust in ComForcares caregivers, I was able to get the rest and sleep that I needed, and my father was provided with both physical help and compassion. Richards very competent nurse, Lorna Benton, went above and beyond the call of duty (very rare in todays medical field!). She made herself available whenever we needed her, and she answered my endless questions with patience and compassion. (Many thanks to her!) Each caregiver was a delight and help to us, and we appreciated Richards standard of excellence and integrity. I would recommend ComForcare to anyone who is in need of home care.

nurse Lorna - Feb. 26, 2012 I am one of the Registered Nurses employed by ComForcare Home Health. After reading the remarks on the ComForcare site by (Keepin The Faith 2012), I would like to make several remarks. I have been one of the RN assessment nurses for ComForcare for 6 months. Our agency is successful with high standards. I have visited all of our clients in their homes during this period. All clients and family members know the owner, and they know the nurses are just a phone call away. My job is to make sure a comprehensive assessment is made on each client and a care plan generated to help each caregiver deliver the proper care. To refute the statement "the nurses were never on time for appointments", I am not sure what nurses this client was speaking about. Several of our clients have other agencies that visit our clients for physical therapy, hospice nurse care, infusion services, etc. If a caregiver calls in sick, they are replaced with another caregiver that is available. If a caregiver is not available, the RN goes to the clients home until a caregiver arrives. The owner of ComForcare is a very caring individual. He is on call 24/7 for any and all emergencies. He employees caregivers that are dependable. Our agency is not aware of any present clients or past clients that have these complaints.

I have worked as an employee for ComForcare for nearly 7 months now and have really enjoyed my job. This was my first job in the health care field, as I am pursuing the career of being a Nurse Anesthetist. My boss, the owner/operator, has been very understanding when personal issues have came up for me, where as most other jobs would have told me to get over it and focus on work. He does the best he can do for clients, making sure to match them up with caregivers that he feels would work great together. He has answered the phone to new potential clients that have called late at night and made sure he had someone taking care of them early the next morning. I have even seen him go out of his way to shovel the snow of one of the clients driveways, something most people would not have done. I really enjoy working with this company, I love my clients and the owner, as well as his office assistant are very caring and will go above and beyond to make sure their employees and clients are happy.

Comforcare is owned by someone who does not have the clients best interests in mind. Mr "Bober" (the owner) is a rude, un caring and cold man. He does not hire his caregivers by experiance, compasion and qualification. He hires them based on age, and appearance. Hes a racist and discriminatory. He views his clients in categories as well. 1. "big enchiladas"- which would be the high paying customers. 2. "regualr joes"- who dont pay so much. He has allowed personal relationships between his caregivers and clients before as well. What im basically saying is, he wants young attractive care givers, and very rich clients, and thats about all he cares about. Hes not in the business for the care his company can give, but the money he can make. So if you care for your loved one, dont put them through this sick game he has going, there are planty of other Home Health Care agencies in Greensboro that will provide excellent CARE for your loved one.

ComForcare has helped our family out twice over the past 2 years - both times my father had hip replacement surgery (on different hips). The caregivers were outstanding, staying with him in hospital when we could not be there and spending a few weeks with him at home after his surgeries. I honestly believe that if we had not had this tremendous level of care, his recovery period would have been far longer with more setbacks. He really enjoyed the caregivers - he was never alone and though we were around as much as possible, we were able to go to work and go home at night, knowing that he was in competent hands. I would definitely recommend ComForcare to anyone who needed any type of assistance with any family member.

I have worked with Mr. Bober for several months and find him honest, direct, timely with his payments and continually striving to coordinate all of his many responsibilities as efficiently and patient-centered as possible. He cares deeply about his clients, their families, as well as his employees. I have not had the opportunity to hire him for a personal family member, but from a basis business-to-business standpoint, I find him to be very professional and focused on his business. You dont find that with a lot of entrepreneurs and I foresee his business growing and growing in the coming years. And that can only be accomplished by being customer-focused as well as fiscally-responsible. Good luck, Richard!

I completely agree with one of the other posters. The care that my Mother got from our caregiver was excellent. She was very nice and caring. However, the owner of the business is very cold hearted and rude. I was even asked if my mother, who has been disabled for 20 years, was potty trained. I think this is highly inappropriate considering the line of business. I would not recommend this company, not because of the service, but about how the owner conducts his business and his lack of compassion and tact.

My experience with Richard, the owner, has been very positive. He cares about his clients and the reputation of his business along with the service his caregivers provide. Most of the comments here are quite positive and reflect my experience with Richard. The couple that are not become questionable if they were the act of competitors trying to smear a good reputation. I think it would be very hard to find someone in the home care industry that does not have a caring personality.
