Horrible. After being told that nothing was wrong with my son, ended up in the ER and then the NICU at Childrens for 5 days...after he almost stopped breathing. Took around 4 visits for them to finally prescribe eyedrops that he needed since he was 3 weeks old (we are now almost 3 months old). On one visit, the nursing staff was so rude and mad because we were told by the Carrick office to take him immediately to the nearest office without an appointment (this was a few weeks before we ended up on high-flow oxygen in the NICU). We were rushed and the "nice nurses" were so rude to us, couldnt find his file and were SO mad because they wanted to leave the office at 4 oclock when they closed at 5:30...so they were upset that we were there while they were trying to close early. My last visit, we waited in the waiting room for ALMOST 3 1/2 hours to be seen now keep in mind my son is 2 1/2 months old!! Oh and every visit....they start a new file and ask the exact same questions about him and his birth! Shouldnt you know that information by now? Weve only been to your office five or six times in 2 1/2 months!! DO NOT recommend especially if you have a newborn baby! Oh, and tonight, my son is having difficulty eating and breathing once again. I was told by Dr. in Chen to call the office that they would answer or call back immediately. Well that was around 630 it is now 830 at night and I still HAVE NOT HAD return phone call.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They hardly took my daughter on time. They would book a handful of kids all with the same exact time. The one lady who works there with dark hair and glasses would always be so hard when it came to giving my daughter shots and pretty much just stab her with it with force. A friend of mine also switched pediatricians for that reason because her daughter was terrified after that. I switched for multiple reasons and I am so glad I did. The last straw with Dr Chens office was the day I took my daughter to her well child checkup and it was only 3 days or so shy of her birthday and they didnt see us and sent us home. I called my health insurance and they said I could take my daughter at anytime for her wellness checkup and that I didnt need to wait for her birthday. Well Gateway Health called Dr Chens office on 3 way with me and the lady with the dark hair and glasses was on the line and was rude with Gateway and they told her all that they told me and the lady said "Oh I didnt know" but she worked there for many years and didnt know?? I am so glad I switched my daughter and havent had a problem the last few years that she has been with her current pediatrician.

I started taking my daughter here in 2003 when she was a baby after her first fancy pediatrician insisted on more vaccinations even though the first one gave her a bad reaction. Dr. Chen allowed my husband and I to decide that we would only get the mandatory vaccinations and then only in time for school as we were keeping our kids at home until they started kindergarten. All three of our children go to this practice, we love Dr. Wayne and Dr. Max and of course Dr. Anne Chen herself. The nurse at the front desk has been with the practice the whole time Ive been going and she is phenomenal, and I see she has her daughter working sometimes now too - keeping it in the family, good job!

Dr. Chen was my Pediatrician when I was a kid, and now that I have a child, she is my childs pediatrician. She is very thorough, and has excellent skills in not only making sure the child is healthy, but also that the parents are well informed of their childs health. She is also good at calming parents down in an emergency, which is a big plus. The nurses are also very helpful, and the amount of time spent waiting is minimal.

The pediatrician himself is very kind, but the nurse with dark hair and glasses was VERY rude. She was very nasty with us when we chose not to schedule for my sons second hpv vaccination in two months. She was wrong about when to get the next shot and repeatedly insisted to us even after we asked to speak to an actual doctor about it.
