This place is a joke! I have never ever been treated so rudely as I have by their staff. I came here for an eye exam and contacts and it has been nothing but problems. They tried to bully me in getting another brand of contacts other than what I used. I tried them and my eyes swelled shut. The contact lens lady said she never heard of them. Really? This is your job, try using Google. She had to reorder multiple times to get my script right, each time waiting 1-2 weeks and never getting it right. This whole experience lasted two months before I got the correct lenses. They did not care. I finally had to tell her what strength to order. I told her to order me 3 boxes. Took weeks to come in and when they did she only ordered me 2 boxes. I called to tell them and the girl answering the phone was so obnoxious and rude to me it was unbelievable! I asked to speak to the office manager and she was even more rude and obnoxious if that is possible. I attempted to make her aware of my entire problematic experience over the course of TWO MONTHS there and she did not care one bit. She defended her rude staff without even listening to me and told me she was happy with them. The lack of respect and incompetence is riduculous! Even more ridiculous is how RUDE everyone in that office is. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO GO THERE! They were also rude to my elderly mother and wrote in her chart that she was uncooperative! Going to Walmart.

Ill definitely never go here again. They had to order me special contacts for no specific reason. 2 months later i am still waiting for my contacts. Will go to Walmarts vision center next time. Ive never had a problem at Walmart. The company I work for uses Martinellis in Charleroi for their safety glasses and i figured since i got my glasses their, i may as well just get the contacts there. I think they switched me from accuview 2 or sureview 2 to some expensive brand so i would have to eventually pay more money after my insurance was up. I called 3 times and my contacts still arent in. They keep saying they werent with this order, but we have a real big order coming in on Monday and tours should be in there. How many times can they use that line?

I have been a patient at the Martinelli Eye and Laser center since age five. As an adult, I choose to drive an hour from my home to continue to be a patient of Dr. Martinellis. I did visit other eye centers while in college but none met the standard of care I receive at this office. In my experience, the staff is always polite, helpful and professional. I order glass and contacts here every year. In addition, I am very nearsighted and the doctor always takes time to listen to my concerns and make me feel comfortable. Ive read negative reviews for this office and want to encourage others not to form an opinion based only on the experiences of these customers. My experiences have always been professional and positive.

Terrible. Doctors were fast and not personable at with me but he like my daughters. Took his good oltime with them. 5minutes on me. 20on them. Uncomfortable. The eye glass ladies were very nice with my daughters and myself. Helping us pick out frames. And keepig in our insurance range. I didnt pay a penny for either kid. I had a nice balance. The receptionist all need fired and the contact lense lady needs her liscence revoked. Ive been going there for a log tine. And I can tell you wh r n it changed ir the worse and which hires caused it all. We will never go back.

Appt for my 2 yr old daughter can be an nightmare with waiting but the staff was so friendly and understanding with her wanting to walk around, they didnt mind. The quickest eye appt shes ever been to, usually waiting is 3 hrs then an hour for the exam but we only waited maybe 10 mins and was back in a room! Only waited maybe 5 mins in the room and the Dr apologized for that wait I guess was a back up on 70 he got there late but really this was the littlest wait time Ive ever had at any other eye place! Will def continue my daughters eye care here!

Dr. Martinelli was very nice. No complains there. The staff could have been nicer, however. Also, they had to have tried to overcharge me on my glasses. My insurance covered all lense expense and a large portion of frame expense. They tried telling me the glasses were nearly $400 after my insurance. No way. Took my script elsewhere and got name brand for just over $100. Wont be going back, ever.

Im not happy I went there to get my prescription safty goggles for work and I figured while I was there I would get a new pair of bifocals well its been over a month and I still dont have either pair yet but they have my 200 dollar deposit on my bifocals they also dont like to return your calls when you call to check on your glasses ! I wished I would have went to Walmart !

I have to admit that the staff is unfriendly and difficult to engage. Ive given Dr. Martinelli five stars as he is an excellent doctor and its evident during appointments that he treats his patients like family: thoughtfully making recommendations: communicating with pcp when necessary. I also take my elderly mother to see him... without hesitation.

Great staff. Short wait time and glasses when promised. When my new progressive lenses were not quite right they replaced the lenses at no charge. Close to home and great service.
