I had three cavities filled (i teach and use cough drops a lot). The dentist (Barot) numbed me, which went ok. he left the suction hose HANGING IN MY MOUTH. I have NEVER had any dentist do that in my entire lifetime. i almost threw up twice. he thought it was amusing oh, i guess i left the hose too long. the procedure went ok. i did feel pain at first. My appointment was on March 25th. It is April 8th and i have had a migraine for seven days. i tried every remedy possible, thinking it was a regular migraine - until now because all of the pain is in my mouth. i called them today and asked to be seen. THEY LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES. i had to give up because i was at work. i had a second to call back and it went straight to their voicemail. i left a nasty message and they got me when i was busy. i called back and they accused me of lying about being on hold no line was blinking.....the music playing was my imagination, i guess. i go in tomorrow for a recheck and x-ray. i would rather lose all of my teeth than EVER trust them again. tomorrow i will be taking my 64 250 pound father in to be my voice. that place is HORRENDOUS. i wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. THIS PLACE DESERVES ABOUT 100 NEGATIVE STARS

I was very pleased with my experience at Refresh Dental of Pleasant Hills. The staff is very friendly and I was able to get an appointment quickly. The staff work very well together to make the office run very efficiently and I had very little wait time. Upon learning that I needed a procedure that wasnt covered by my insurance, the staff went above and beyond to set me up with resources to help with financing . I returned a few days later as I needed a few fillings and a cleaning; again, short weight time and very friendly atmosphere. One thing I liked about the office is that they didnt waste any time; no sooner was I brought back and sat down when the dentist came in and began working. The hygienists couldnt have been more pleasant and were very knowledgeable as well! I would recommend this office to my family and friends!!

Worst customer service. They changed my appointment time without my consent and called me 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment stating a different appointment time. I checked my email again and had a different appointment time than what front desk stated over the phone. The Staff is very rude. The doctor examined my daughter without front desk verifying if her insurance was still active. They are supposed to do that prior to exam. They still charged me $99 for an exam. It was the Patient Care Coordinators job to verify if insurance was still active before we went into exam room. Staff was rude and dismissive even over the phone, besides the dentist.

Well... They did some fillings and a root planing and scaling. Filings took a long time to feel better. I spent so much time there over several days that my jaw muscles were strained. Did have to ask for additional novacain. The work quality is ok. The person that did the root scaling was great. I didnt like that various hygienists did the fillings as opposed to the dentist. Strange. I was disappointed with the billing as I felt it was a bit bait and switch.

I took my son for a cleaning....I was not too happy with the wait. The appointment was at 5:30pm didnt go in until 6pm and didnt see the hygienist until 6:30!!! The hygienist was pleasant and the staff. The place is NOT equipped with state of the art technology, as they claim on their website. They have water damage and it smells. Not a good experience at all!

Filled cavaties and left me in pain for weeks. I called and the doctor told me that I needed to go and have the tooth that was bothering me pulled. Second opinion stated that i DID NOT need a tooth pulled, but that the filling was done very poorly.

Best dentist and staff ever. Very nice and bed side manor is amazing. Makes you feel comfortable and explains everything so well! I highly recommend
