Despite the iffy reviews on Dr. Andersen and his practice, I can honestly say after my visit with him, I am happy with having him as my new PCP. Hes a very old school doctor and very forward. Unlike most doctors where you may feel hesitant to ask questions or be forward about the treatment youre actually seeking. He is one of those doctors that has his restrictions(does not do pain management) on what he is willing to do, but in a responsible manner and for good reason. But he is also very flexible and helpful to your treatment needs. If he cannot personally treat you for something, he is willing and able to refer you to someone who can. Dont be afraid to ask questions and be straight to the point of what treatment you need. Also, aside from a pleasant doctor, despite other reviews, one of the front desk women, I didnt catch her name, but she is a blonde and is typically the one at the desk, I found her to be very polite. I think your experience depends upon your attitude. Dont take the negative reviews and go in with a negative expectation. Give it a chance. You may be happily surprised like I was

I just moved to Pottstown from Orlando and have to change doctors. Its not been a very good experience for me. I was assigned Dr Anderson through my insurance and its been two months and they still have not received my records from Florida. My doctor in Florida was great and I highly doubt its their fault. When I called to follow up with Dr Anderson I left a message and received no call back. When I called again I spoke to a very rude lady who yelled and screamed at me and hung up on me twice. I dont recommend this office.

I am always nervous when changing doctors, but due to a tough time in my life and a change in insurances (trust me not by my choice) , I was forced to. He went over my records thoroughly, and continued with my course of care, which was working . I found his staff pleasant, and I was seen on my appointment time. I am pleasantly surprised and very satisfied.
