I came to Dr Ramanathan for a shoulder injury and she diagnosed me with a sprained shoulder. I was in extreme pain and she gave me a script for vicadin. I called next day to say it didnt work I am in extreme pain, she asked I go to hospital for xrays. I did just that and still she would not get back to me about the pain. I waited another day and called there office, They said they would give me another script if I returned the current meds to pharmacy. No problem. Turns out no pharmacy will take back meds once its been dispensed and they could not fill the script due to the fact it wasnt written out right. I had to wait another day to talk to Doc. By this time ive gone 3 days no sleep in extreme pain. I called back the office to explain the issue and was told they would contact the Doc and get back with me. Ive never heard from them again. This is the most uncaring practice Ive ever delt with. The Doc had no sympathy for the pain I was in nor did anyone in the office care to follow up on my several pleas for pain relief. I will never return to this practice nor recommend her to anyone.

The only reason just went here in the first place was because my insurance at the time wasnt accepted by many places. First of all the place is creepy as hell. It must have been an old doctors office from the early 50s...I think its time to update your stuff. Make it a little less...cold and unwelcoming. Second and most importantly...I personally think Dr. Ramanathan is VERY unprofessional. The personal opinion comments about my choice in "body modification" were EXTREMELY inappropriate (she didnt like my tongue ring) her comment had absolutely nothing to do with why I was there nor did she give a medical reason as to why I shouldnt have it. She just out of nowhere pretty much told me I was gross...and left the room And her point of view on mental illness is nearly nonexistent I think its time you update more than just your office.

She told me to pray away my Lyme disease, that I already had positive results from the Er, but the Er only gave me enough antibiotics to get to a family Dr...Ramanathan then looked at me, told me to walk to the pharmacy and ask how much more dioxycycline they recommend. I still get weekly phone calls harassing me for the copay. The woman at the desk and the rest of the staff was very nice though. BTW I have over 12 positive western blots here on paper.

Everytime I have visit her office, Dr. Ramanathan is most pleasant, joyful, and lifts my spirit with her terrificly personable "bedside manner." While she is busy with many patients and other duties, she still takes time to talk and catch up with you in a personal way. More like visiting a friendly neighbor, but without the cup of tea. More doctors could learn from her! Thanks, Dr.!

The worst practice ever. The receptionist is so miserable she should not work there. Not to mention a doctor who is so old she cant remember what she diagnosed you with a week ago. She plays the guessing game on your health. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. So unprofessional by everyone who works there. You call and leave a message and they never call you back. So unhappy.
