My dog went missing 3 times within 2 months the 1st time they send a police officer to my house to notify me a pound had him. second time a person finds him and called the vets number that was onhis tag. All they did was give the person my street name. WHY? They were nice enough to drive up and down the street asking everyone if they recognize the dog. 3RD time he chased a cat and broke loose of his collar. Missing for almost two weeks! A person took him in and called THIS vet which was the only number on the collar. They left their info incase the owner called to call them. THIS vet NEVER CALLED ME NOR GAVE THEM MY INFO! They left me and my family broken for almost two weeks with NO help to return our dog home. Only said to search a FB page for lost animals. KNOWING i posted about him being missing there. DID NOT HELP AT ALL!!! WHY!? I DO NOT KNOW but i now despise this place! We couldve never gotten our dog back

I have lived in the Providence area for 10 years now. I have been using Eastside Veterinary Clinic since we moved here. They have been nothing less than excellent with the care of my pets. Currently, I have 2 beagles and a cat and Dr. Andrea Springer, who has been our vet of choice since she began working there, has been wonderful! Both of my beagles have developed issues and Dr. Springer has always taken the time and care to offer us all the possibilities and all the avenues for diagnosis and treatment without fail. She always makes sure we have printed material to educate ourselves with about their conditions and offers several options. I have never had any of the vets or staff treat us or our pets with anything less than their best care and attention. As long as we are in this area, I will always take my pets here for their veterinary care.

We have been taking our two cairn terriers, Rufus and Ozzie to ESVC for 3 years. Shortly after we adopted them we brought them to see Dr. Oni Springer. She was so knowledgable about the breed, thorough with their exams and obviously an animal lover! The dogs love her. We had one incident with Ozzie getting bitten by a neighborhood dog a year ago. I was traumatized by the event but her calm demeanor and assurance that he would be fine, expectations of how he would react to the medications calmed me down. I would highly recommend this clinic. It is very clean and every time Im there I never have to wait. it is organized and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

I am not a veteran pet-owner, so the liftless state I found my cat in after two vaccine shots made me very anxious yesterday. I hope that I had had given more information before the vaccine shots as well. I called the clinic and was offered a courtesy exam the same day. Dr. Lopes was understanding and patient, trying to ease my anxiety - my cat got temperature and other check-ups. I left the clinic with a much calmer mind. And my cat comes to life again today. The latter part of my story about the ESVC is great to me as a customer and I have good experience with Dr. Lopes - the staff (I met the girly one owning two cats) is very kind and warm.

I took my cat here because his gums are bleeding. One of the vets assessed him and said come back in 6 months. Roughly 4 or 5 months later, it happened again so I took him back. The vet said something about possible cancer, then took him to do tests. I asked the tech to see the notes the vet wrote last time, and when she brought them to me, three things were written as possible causes. One of them was cancer. The vet thought this could be cancer 4-5 months earlier and didnt tell me. I left and never went back. City Kitty will never do that to you. Go to them for your cats. They will always be truthful and take care of you and your pet.

Ive had two bad experiences with this place, and I am never going back. First, they ordered superfluous exams, the results of which were never acted upon, leading me to believe their interests were purely financial. Their phone demeanor was curt, with a complete dearth of patience and willingness to explain or expand on treatment options. And in another incident they gave me terrible treatment instructions for my cat, which nearly led to his death, not to mention hundreds of dollars of medical bills at a real veterinary clinic. Save yourself the trouble, go anywhere but here.

I do a lot of reseach before I select a doctor for my family {including my pets}. The one bright spot I have seen here is my vet {Lindsay Thibeault}. The prices are outrageous, the staff is not courteous AT ALL and their policies change so frequently and are clearly driven by profit margins, not animal care. Believe it or not {this is a true story}, it cost about 1/3 of the price to have my Irish Wolfhoud put down at the EMERGENCY CLINIC in East Greenwich than the estimate given to me at ESVC. I am looking for a new vet. Enough is enough,

came here with my dog. Friendly enough staff but not very interested in listening to what YOU have noticed about your dogs behavior. 15 mins and a $300 bill later, I leave with some UTI meds, no information I couldnt have found online, and the distinct feeling of misdiagnoses. Well, its a couple months later and she is experiencing the same issue. Maybe the choice of eastsiders with money to burn, but I cannot recommend this vet; in fact this is my first "Bad" vet experience.

Dr. Schneider and Dr. Murphy take the most excellent care of my geriatric chihuahua and are the kindest people in town. Im one of those small dog people who loves the dog as I would a child. These DVMs and techs consistently give my little old 5 pound dog excellent veterinary medical care. Great practice, awesome vets and techs.

Ive brought my two cats to ESVC for about a year and have had nothing but good experiences. The place is clean, the staff are polite-- Id say its expensive, except I havent had to take my pets anywhere else, so I have no basis of comparrison. Still and all, Ive been nothing but happy with my experiences so far.

I changed vets after the owner Peter tried to overcharge me when my dog started having problems. I had always been told they where money hungry but now I found out for myself. Be safe with your pet if your using this guy for your vet because he clearly loves the $$.

I’ve found the staff friendly and their prices comparable to other places we’ve been. Our vet has always been great and provided us with information on preventative measures for our high maintenance pug. They always fit us in and find a time that works for us.

It was a long journey for Titi and I always felt she had the best care with Dr. Springer . she sat on the floor with me and titi until the last breath. She was very sweet with Titi . I have no words to thank her all the care .
