Never going back to this office again. We moved to a new town and needed a new vet. The first time I brought my cat in, the doctor had no interest in her past history, he just complained that he couldnt read the vets notes from our old office. My 17 year old cat messes herself from the stress of the car ride, and no one in the office would clean her up (my new vet, and old vet would take her immediately for a bath), this place would make her sit in her own feces, urine and vomit while waiting 20-30 minutes!! The exam rooms are tiny, and not the cleanest Ive seen. My husband went with our other cat for a separate visit, and had the same bad experience I had. I went in another time to pick up some (very common) meds that my cats are on, and they didnt have enough to give me.... who runs out of medicine!! The last straw was when they rescheduled a blood work appointment due to the time my cats get their meds, and rescheduled it for a better time (for a more accurate blood test). We show up for the rescheduled appointment and were turned away because according to the girl at the front desk "you gave them the pill too late, we wont get an accurate reading". My new vet at Spinnaker in Somerset said that was ridiculous, as long as they know when the meds were given, the blood work will be just fine. Im absolutely in love with everyone at Spinnaker now, and will refer everyone to go there!! I want to go to a vet office where the staff actually seem to care about my pets. Didnt get this feeling at Swansea Vet Center.

First off the girl at the front desk was very rude. We brought our dog there for a consultation because he needs pallet surgery. The doctor looked at him for two minutes and this is what he said... " this surgery is out of my realm so im going to refer you to another hospital" so he gives us the phone number to another hospital and says have a good day. Then of coarse proceeds to charge us for a consultation visit.we explained what our dog needed when we called so why didnt they refer us to another doctor right away if they knew they wher incapable of doing the surgery? How do you charge someone for giving them someone elses number that we could of easily went online and get ourselves. At this point weve paid two consulatation fees to just get referrals to other doctors. And now he reffered us to another hospital that has a $130 consultation fee and our dog hasnt been helped yet. This is a scam and a rip off!

I got there at 12 with a very sick cat in my wheel chair they turned me away cause they were closing i had like no battery left they sent me down to 24 he hosp luckly i made it there! Shame on you ppl !!!!turnin me away cause ur asss didnt wanna do overtime! U should be fired!

I have a very large boxer puppy: When we took her in for her check up, she was very excited and all over the place. They handled and treated her very well. The staff was amazing. This is the only vet my pets go to.

Ive been bringing my dog here for about 2 years now. Ive always been happy with the care. They also provide grooming and boarding, which is very convenient. I would and have recommended them to friends.
