I always thought they were great in Warwick until today. My shepherd who is a regular patient and was just seen last week for his immunizations, was denied care until next week for a very painful draining ear infection. They Claimed they only had one vet on staff and she did not have time to see him until next week. Usually they give you the option to drop off in am and leave for the day but I was denied that option because during our previous visit I left my other shepherd home and the two dogs are inseparable, so he became very anxious and nipped at tech after his injection. They declared him aggressive for the first time since bringing him there for 4 years. That was their reason for not letting him spend the day. I agreed he could be muzzled as I would rather have a healthy sad dog then a very sick dog not being treated by his vet. Banfield was not cooperating at all. I then called Johnston Banfield who took him in to see great Dr who thought he was well behaved and the md thought the relationship between the two dogs was fascinating. It was as if the female was the mother not the sister. He gave him medicine and sent us on our way. I will try Banfield again but only Johnston as my female shepherd has wellness plan and as long as they get her seen, I am fine.

I brought my 4 month old puppy there to have a urinalysis and blood work done, they had me drop her off at 9am and pick her up at 5pm. When I got her back she had a bulging third eyelid in her left eye that was not there when I dropped her off. The veterinarian told me to use an eye gel we had at home and gave an eye drop. My puppies eye got worse from the recommended medication and I had to take her to the emergency room who told me the medicines I was applying were causing the condition to get worse and that she now needs eye surgery. Im so upset and they just acted like they didnt know why it came about and kept ignoring the problem. I will never bring an animal here again.

I used to take my 2 dogs and 2 cats to Banfield. My dog had a seizure disorder. Banfield said it was neurological and prescribed meds. She ended up almost dying. They said it was her time, and nothing could be done. I took her to a different vet, who flushed her system, tested her blood, and discovered it was a liver condition. The medication that Banfield prescribed and the care they offered actually almost killed my dog. Dont go there!!

Gel

I brought my dog to get his anal glands expressed, all I could hear was him crying in the back room and when he came out he didnt want to walk at all. The doctor told me he was going to cut his hair around his but area and he barely cut anything. The anal gland got more infected and my dog was in so much pain. I had to take him to another hospital to get it cleaned the right way. Do not take your dog here. I will never go back.

I loved Dr Jackson as well as the staff. She was very thorough with my dogs exam and was honest with me regarding possible treatments. Its not easy to trust someone regarding your pets health, but I do feel she is knowledgable beyond her years and truly loves what she does! That is why I will continue to go here and recommend her to anyone!

The staff are just sooo friendly and are there to help you out when you and your kittycat needs help! They treat my kittycat as if he was their furry baby and I can trust them with my pet. I am always so grateful to have them and just love them!
