Our family pets have been going to East Bay (specifically seen by Dr. Elizabeth Murdock) for about 10 years now. Our previous and present family dogs, cat, and my previous ferret have all been patients of hers. My family and I appreciate her so greatly. Shes very knowledgable in all questions we have for either animals. When we had to put our previous family dog down, Dr. Murdock (and I believe the vet tech was Jessica, but this is going back five years) were incredible. Two months ago, my elderly ferret needed to be put down in Dr. Murdock (and Jessicas) care. I wish my two previous ferrets could have passed at East Bay Animal Hospital. I was able to stay with my baby and have her in my arms the entire time that she passed. Then they gave us all the time we needed to be with her (same for our previous dog.) It meant the world to me. Youre in such a fragile state because youre losing a best friend so their kindness and helpfulness means so much. I sent them a thank you card immediately after my ferrets passing. I received her ashes in the urn I picked out within the week. We received a phone call from Dr. Murdock soon after regarding local ferret(s) for adoption if I was interested (but it was too soon). As a side note, I also want to recognize Melina and Karly for their work and compassion when dealing with our pets, whether a check up or during sick times. These women are both fantastic. Ive adopted two "stray" ferrets in a shelter and came to find out that Dr. Murdock is doing a needed surgery on one of them before hes in my care. Shes the kind of vet that at least one local shelter "loves and goes to her all the time. Shes the best." In response to the previous reviewer, may I gently suggest not having so many pets if you cant afford all the necessary medical treatment. x

Everyone that knows me understands my love for animals. How I take pets in that are unwanted by people that no longer want them. I give them a warm home, fix them and feed them well. The names of my cats today are: Sweety, Aries, Jazzy, Socko, Jack, Sarah, Oreo, Dasher, MJ, Cougar, Bear, Squirrel, Sophia, Buttonnose and Tubby. Dogs: Meggerra and Khulua . Birds: Penelope (African Grey), Freddie cockotiel, Petey (petey has no feet) and Shakerra Paraketes. My pets bring me alot of love and affection. Right now they need mine. I take them to Petco for their shots and if any other needs I take them to East Bay Animal Hospital Seekonk. I noticed that my cats have had some white worms in their stool. This upset me very much knowing that this is tape worms. I dropped a off a stool sample and spoke to Daniel Love and handed him a list of the names of my pets. He said he would need weights on all of them and I said ok after we get the results. I ask at the time if I could just get a prescription after the results come in so I could go to 1800 Pet Meds. Daniel Love says yeah because it would cost you a small fortune. I get a call back from a Karley Bianco from the office the next day and she said to me that it was tape worm and the vet wants to see all of the animals. I said that would cost a fortune that I dont have. I said which vet said that she said all of them.. (Dr. Elizabeth Murdock, Dr. Anne Nuttal and Dr. Peter Cournoyer owner). I said I dont understand any vet would say if one has worms they all do. I do not understand why they would rather see my pets die then treat them. I need someone to help me help them since East Bay Animal Hospital is only out to stick money in their pockets instead of helping my Animals.

Called on a Friday because we had made the difficult decision to have our 16 and a half year old euthanized to end his pain and suffering as his latest seizure left him to struggling to breathe. Given that it was 6pm when this happened, it was hard to find a local vet open but we called East Bay around 630 and they were open until 730. We stated we had a older dog that unfortunately was dying, they said there was a doctor still there but he was heading out soon. They put me on hold and came back and told me that it would be "a lot of paperwork" for that and they werent willing to do it. They denied a poor, innocent dog that was suffering badly trying to even breathe because they didnt want to do paperwork. I was at a loss for words at how poorly of an excuse they gave to not help him. Id never recommend them to anyone or take my other pets there. Id give them 0 stars if I could.

Pet owners BEWARE!!! Very unprofessional staff, none of them know why they are doing. Dr. Murdock made me leave the room when my rescue dog was getting his shots and got very nervous because I was not there and bit her. She then called the health department and animal control and now he has to go to a shelter for 1 week to be quarantined. This dog was just rescued and he has been through enough trauma but now since this happend its going to get worse. She can not handle animals properly and does not tame them properly. She should not be doing this job because she clearly doesnt know how. She should have put a muzzle on him before the visit. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WE ARE PASSING THE WORD TO EVERYONE AND EVEN POSTING ONLINE TO SAVE PEOPLE FROM THIS HORROR PLACE.

Dr. Murdock is the most caring and passionate vet I know ! I highly recommend her. She goes above and beyond for her patients . My last dog had a rare case of auto immune defiency and she did everything to keep him healthy and live the best life. The staff at East Bay is also phenomenal and always greeted me with a smile and remembered mine and my dogs name! We just took our new pup there and I couldnt feel better knowing my dog is always in good hands!

These guys took excellent care of our cat while he was there. We were brought to tears when we received a condolence letter along with his paw prints on a nice card. We will definitely be bringing our other animals here when the emergency arises. Thanks Again East Bay Animal Hospital

Would definitely recommend this place for rabbits! Its hard to find a good bunny vet, but Dr. Murdock and her staff were very knowledgeable and took a lot of time to answer all of our questions and look over and discuss every aspect of our senior buns health.
