Clemson Eye is not as interested in their patients as they are in making a dollar. My insurance policy covers one eye exam every two years. When I used my last pair of contact lenses, I called to order more contacts as was told that my prescription had expired and that I would be required to have an eye exam before contacts could be ordered. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk staff informed me that my insurance would not cover an exam until November, 2017. I explained to two ladies at the front desk that I was completely out of contacts and asked how I would get more to get me through until my next exam in November. The Clemson Eye front desk staff said there was nothing that they could do unless I wanted to pay in full, out of pocket, for an exam today, June 7, 2017. One lady simply walked away while the other went on to state that my eyesight could have changed since my last exam, thus the reason I would not receive contacts at my current prescription strength. So, let me get this straight Clemson Eye...it is in my best interest to have NO contact lenses AT ALL, for SIX more months until my insurance will cover an exam, than to continue wearing lenses at my current prescription strength. What a bunch of bologna! I truly miss small-town doctors that really do care about their patients and do all they can to care for their immediate needs. Obviously, I will no longer be a patient of Clemson Eye but will look elsewhere for a practice that puts patients ahead of $$$.

Horrible experience. My daughter and I arrived at 9:30 for a 9:45 appointment, waited alone (not another person in the building except 5 women employees) for 30 minutes, then we were taken to separate examining rooms, had our eyes checked and dialating drops. Waited another 30 minutes before employee came back to tell us doctor was not there but would probably be there afternoon. We had our choice to wait or leave, they didnt care which. I had to go back to work, so we left. It was bright sun out (11:15 AM) and we had no sunglasses or anything to sheild our eyes, but still had to drive to work and then home for my daughter. It was extremely dangerous because we had a very difficult seeing. Do NOT trust these unprofessional, careless practioners. I wrote to their administraction e-mail, but not even a courtesy reply.

I went to Clemson Eye back in July. They said I was going to have to pay over $4500.00 for my surgery. That was after my insurance had paid. I told them I was on a fixed income & could not afford that much money. They said I didnt make enough money to make payments. So I decided to get a second opinion. I have an appointment scheduled with another Doctor. I had to go in & sign a release with Clemson Eye to send my records to the new doctor. Well that was 2 months ago & Clemson eye still hasnt sent my records. I called them & the girl said they couldnt do anything about it. Well, my new doctor said she has the paper I signed scanned into her computer. My thing is DONT GO TO CLEMSON EYE. You are paying for their nice new expensive offices & all the unnecessary employees.

My wife has Glaucoma and needs her eye drops twice every day. Clemson Eye in Easley is very slow in calling in her prescriptions after they have been notified by her Pharmacist that she is in need of refills. Clemson Eye was called last Thursday by our Pharmacist, today is Monday and my wife is still out of one of her eye drops. Her eye Doctor there seems concerned about her eyes but I feel something is lacking in the front office, or by whomever is in charge of ordering prescriptions.

i had a simple cataract surgery and was quoted $3000 to $4000 after asking twice (the doctor and another employee). this compared with a $3300 national average for simple surgery that year (2014). surprised later to be billed over $4000 by clemson eye and over $7500 by a surgery center. needless to say this has gone to collections. when this bunch quotes a price, get it in writing and itemized. (sorry, i used dr. glazer in anderson)

Moved from Texas an had seen the same eye dr. for about 15 years so was not sure what to expect at Clemson eye Easley. Let me say they were great an had already received my records from vision source in Texas so they were able to make me extremely comfortable. They were a super bunch of folks to deal with. Thank you Clemson Eye

I dropped in without appointment because I had an emergency with my glasses. I waited for the previous patient to finish and then I was helped a lot better than I expected. I will come back!
