My sister called here to become a new patient because she received a recommendation from a good friend. After informing Lauren that she would be covered by medicaid, Lauren stated that they "unfortunately did not have any new patient appts available until after September 1st" but shed be "happy to provide the number to their sister clinic." The Sister Clinic is the state obgyn center. I called back for my sister to see if I received the same answer. Lauren answered again only this time she asked how far along I was. I told her 12 weeks. She said," Oh, Im sorry, we dont see any new patients who are further along than 11 weeks." I asked her if they see any new patients at all, and her response was that "they did not have any new patient appts available until August 1st." I am very upset...my sister deserves the right to receive good care regardless of her coverage plan. She is a hardworking, really great and respectable person. She just works in the restaurant business and while shes working her way up, doesnt have a lot of money or private insurance. This feels discriminatory and I am appalled that anyone would treat her this way. If Lauren is the first person people deal with before becoming a patient in this practice, I am unsure why anyone would continue on past that initial interaction. Being an office administrator myself, I am shocked by her unprofessional demeanor.

Extremely long wait times. I waited for over an hour for multiple scheduled appointments. I understand if there is an emergency and the office is running behind. A patient with an emergency is the top priority. However, the office needs to communicate when running behind so that patients waiting can make plans with work or child care providers. At my last appointment I arrived the requested 15 minutes before my appointment time and waited an hour. After raising this issue with the doctor I was given two different excuses for the wait. The nurse told me that they were waiting for an open exam room and the doctor told me that there were patients who arrived after me and were seen before me. If you are a working woman or a mother with children, plan for a scheduled appointment to take half a day to avoid frustration.

Dr. Price and his nurse are excellent. Ive always had a great experience with them when I come in. The woman who answers the phone for appointments is rude every single time that I call. It has to be the same person. It makes my whole outlook of Greenville Obgyn different. I like that they give out cards during your visit with everyones name on it, so that you can review them afterwards. I wish they did same after you speak to this person.

Very long waiting times - waited more than an hour and fifteen minutes and the nurse kept telling me how busy they are. At the end, I had to cancel my appointment because I could not wait any longer. I would not recommend this practice unless you have all the time in the world and do not mind waiting for hours.

Ive been going here for nearly 8 years. Theyve birthed one of my children, and I am now with my second. Ive met with all the doctors, but I am partial to Dr. Bailey and Dr. Walvoord. Sure, there are some long wait times, but you get that anywhere. Great practice!
