After many disappointing eye exams from other local practices, I began to think that a comprehensive exam was a thing of the past. A visit to Socastee Eye Clinic took me back to a simpler time, when care providers put the patient first, and delivered the best possible service. Dr. Neal Williams performed my eye exam, which was very extensive! He was not only interested in my vision, but he engaged in a conversation to learn more about me, as an individual. From what I understand, Dr. Ryan Williams offers the same top notch treatment. In many cases, the staff can define a professional practice. At Socastee Eye Clinic, the entire staff (including Louie) is warm and genuine. They work extremely well together, and that reflects upon patient satisfaction. When you walk in the door, you are more that a patient, a number, or an insurance card. You become a valued customer, and a friend. My husband and I chose this practice, after reading the numerous 5 star reviews on multiple review sites. If you are looking for a fancy showroom with lots of lights and mirrors, go to the mall. If you are looking for the most comprehensive eye care, by an exceptional practice, choose Socastee Eye Clinic!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Neil Williams since 1979. We began to see him when he was a Captain in the Air Force assigned to Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Our experiences with him since that time have been nothing less than outstanding. T his includes all of his assistants who have always been friendly, courteous, and professional. His son who is in practice with his father seems to be a carbon copy of his father. I have recommended him to a number of my friends in the past years, and I will continue to do so.

On a scale from 1 to 10,this office is a 20! From the moment you walk in until you leave,you feel like the only person there,every staff member is knowledgeable,patient,explains everything to you,courteous helpful and an advocate for each client.I would not hesitate to recommend them. I referred a family member, recently and Dr.Williams discovered a serious condition,which is being treated and we are seeing small improvements every week. I needed to have an eye exam and the VA sent me to Dr. Williams. I have to say that the eyeglasses and contact lenses that he fitted me with are excellent. The amount of sophisticated equipment he used in an eye exam makes the difference. My previously optometrist did not have all of this equipment and, as a result, could not produce the same result. I highly recommend Dr. Williams, and his support staff is outstanding as well.

Drs. Williams (both of them) are very knowledgeable and thorough when giving an eye exam. They keep up with the latest technology in diagnostic equipment. But it is the personal touch from both the Doctors and staff that make Socastee Eye Clinic such a great place to visit. I always get excellent service and a friendly smile. I would highly recommend them.

Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. We have been with these doctors for about 10 years or longer. Even my brother who lives in Bamburg, SC drives to their office. Our son and daughter in law visit his office in Wilmington and our daughter and grandchild see them. I would and have recommended this group to many othets. All have come away happy.
