Heather the hygienist is great and Dr. Dublin is nice, but ... you will be inundated with desperate pleas to have whatever work you need done RIGHT NOW. You will be hounded to have laser whitening. You will be hounded to have your old silver fillings replaced with porcelain. You will be hounded to have an oral cancer screening, which is useful, but the profit margin on it is insane. And all of this while you are laying on your back in the dentist chair, where you can hardly put up a fight. You will be told they need a set of full-mouth xrays, even if youve got some with you that were done a year ago ("we always do it, just so we can start fresh" ??!) I was also quoted a price for a metal crown replacement, then after my insurance approved it, I was told "we dont use metal" and that the cost would be $250 more than what was quoted. Where I come from that is called "bait and switch" and made me want to take a shower when I got home. I got no fewer than 3 begging calls afterward for me to come in for a boatload of work (I have never had problems with my teeth, and all of a sudden everything is going to pot??). This woman was literally hounding me to get in the car and come to the office RIGHT NOW. Oh - and they scheduled my next cleaning for FIVE months out instead of six. It was ridiculous. Ill never go back there and neither will anyone else in my family. It is only my opinion, but I dont believe this dentist should be practicing.

My experience at this dentist was very bad--I will never go back. I had an appointment scheduled far in advance. I go in, and find out that there is NO DENTIST IN THE OFFICE. Thats ok, they say. A hygenist is just as good, it will be fine. I should have got up and left right then, but I was so thrown that I stayed. Then, my teeth are to have a routine cleaning like Ive done 1000 times. I am told that their cleaning equipment is broken, so the hygenist proceeds to clean my teeth with a TOOTHBRUSH. I am so shocked that they have allowed me to come in without calling me and warning me that a) there would be no dentist to talk to and b) their equipment wasnt even working. Of course, this counted with my insurance as a real visit. I am angry about this, and I consider myself scammed. I get the impression that this is a very desperate office, which is why they feel the need to pull the old bait and switch. Beware!

My wife and I recently moved to the area and thought we would try out Westgate. It is a nice place in Cool Springs, and the people there were so kind. However, on our first visit the doctor told us we had around 8 cavities total between the both of us, told my wife she needed braces, gum reconstruction, her wisdom teeth out, as well as fill in her cavities, even though she has never had any of these problems before. We went with it though, and scheduled myself an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed the following week. They cancelled the day before because the doctor no longer works on Wednesdays and Thursdays (weird), and then the next date they called 30 minutes before my wisdom teeth removal to let us know they ran out of Nitrus (laughing gas), and would only have enough for half of the procedure. Needless to say, there is something off about this place. Definitely wouldnt recommend.

Ive never had any dental problems and was quite surprised when Donald Myers at Westgate Dental told me I had several cavities and needed a deep gum cleaning...nearly $2000 of dental work. After that alarming visit I decided I better get a second opinion from a friends dentist. My friends dentist took a very close look and saw no cavities at all. He also said he thought my gums looked fine, though he suggested I try an electric toothbrush. Donald Myers "treatment plan" was completely unecessary and would have caused me uncessary pain and suffering at a significant monetary cost. I would avoid Westgate Dental at all costs.

I recently had a root canal performed here. I wish I hadnt. The final price of entire procedure was nearly double what they initially quoted. We cant seem to get an accurate bill or balance whether we call them or not. Last time my wife called, they said we incurred a late fee, but we never received a bill. Then they asked her for payment in full. Aside from this, plan on being in the chair for 3+ hours. They will book 4-6 patients with only one dentist, so you wait...dentist does work, wait..... more work, wait.... emergency, wait.... Get the picture?

This office was recommended to me by my girlfriend. I had not been to the dentist in some time and suffer from a rediculous gag reflex. I have never met a team so caring and compassionate as the people at Westgate Dental. They will never judge, will always listen and treat you woth the utmost respect. Youre not just a patient here, you are a very important customer.

The Dentist and staff at Westgate Dental care are the best Ive been to. They really took the time to explain everything I needed to be done and why. I felt like I was in very good hands the entire time and never felt like I was being rushed. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking!

Going to see Dr. Kutsulis quickly showed me that my dental anxiety is completely unnecessary. She was so welcoming and warm, making me feel instantly comfortable in that chair. And my teeth have never felt so clean! I would definitely go back!
