I have been a patient with Snodgrass King well over ten years and they used to have their stuff together. I had an appointment May 23, 2017 to have a sore tooth checked out. I made plans to be fitted for a mouth guard on my upcoming cleaning appointment which was June 29, 2017. A few weeks prior I gave the office a call to ask about the mouth guard impressions and was told that there were no notes on my cleaning appointment about it at all. So June 29 I had my teeth cleaned and was fitted for the mouth guard. It was busy and hectic but it was a very messy process to be fitted for a mouth guard. I had the mold material residue on my face and shirt not to mention the other composite which shot out on me rather than in my mouth as it should have. I am not sure what happened after I left and paid half for the guard by the way. I was told that it would be about ten days to two weeks turnaround time. I started calling to follow up on it around July 10 and called each day. The office said each day that it wasnt in but they would call when it was. Granted during this time my receding gum from clenching my jaws isnt improving and the delay on the guard isnt helping. Friday July 14 I call to inquire about the guard and after being told again that it wasnt in and that everyone that I would need to speak to about it wasnt there so I asked for the lab information so that I could follow up on it myself. The girl in the Cool Springs office didnt know so I called Murfreesboro. They gave me the name of the lab but didnt tell me that the lab wouldnt give me any information which was irrelevant because it wasnt even sent to that particular lab. I found this out when I called on Monday July 17 and I also found out that the impressions were lost and Snodgrass King had no idea where they were. Not only that, I would need to return to the office to have additional impressions made. Granted, they did offer to overnight them to the lab at their expense but at this point I was too mad and in pain to have more made. What tipped the scale was being told when I called back to ask about not paying anything additional, which they refused, was being told that the office was busy and they didnt have time to talk to me. If I have already spent $206.25 and would be spending another $206.25 out of pocket then you better make the time to talk to me or else I will take my business elsewhere which is exactly what I plan on doing. I called the periodontists office that Snodgrass referred me to that is repairing my receding gums for their recommendation as to an over the counter mouth guard which is of course a fraction of the cost of one custom made and when I am due for a cleaning I will be going to a different dentist and not returning to Snodgrass King. I am not sure what has happened to their customer service. I realize that everyone makes mistakes but keep track of impressions that are made and sent out, don’t just let them fall by the wayside.

My experience was the most horrible and disrespectful and I would NEVER recommend anyone take their children there. First of all, they did completely unnecessary things because at the time we were on Medicaid. I had a second opinion on a couple of the things they suggested and the dentists told me that it was completely unnecessary. I liked their waiting room and they seemed professional enough (I had only taken them for cleanings) but once my daughter had to have a procedure done that I thought was legitimate, when I told them that I would like to stay in the room with her, they said it was against their policy and I had to wait in the waiting room. Due to personal reasons, I am not comfortable with my daughter being completely drugged up and I am not allowed to stay with her. It is completely FINE to have your own policies. That was not my problem. The nurse told me that I could call Dr. Snodgrass and talk to him about it and the receptionist just told me that it would not be possible to go back with her. I told her that was fine, I would just find a new dentist that would allow me to go back with my daughter. Then she said "Good luck with that." I was completely taken aback. I said "What?" She said "Good luck with that. There arent any dentists that let you back with your children." Which, by the way, is completely UNTRUE. I found two that would take her and let me go in with her within ten minutes of hanging up the phone. I asked to be transferred to Dr. Snodgrasss voicemail again so that I could make a complaint. He never called me back. I called one more time, was transferred all around and finally ended up with this woman again (who I guess is their office manager) and she said she would make sure he would call. He never called. So unprofessional, so greedy, complete lack of personal customer service. I would NEVER take my kids there again or recommend anyone take them there.

The cleaning my two children received should have been 100% covered by insurance. I communicated quite clearly that if it is not covered DO NOT DO IT. I got a bill for 100.00 after a cleaning. I called and was told to just ignore it that she would fix the issue because she couldnt figure out why I was being charged. In a years time I called 4 times because each month I would get a new bill. Then after a year of getting the bill, I called again and complained. She notified me that they gave my children fluoride and I was responsible to pay the 100.00! I explained to her that I was clear that they were not to do anything not covered by my insurance without permission. She said that the dental assistant must not have made the note in the corner of the folder or she just didnt check or she thought our insurance would surely cover it but its still my problem to pay for their mistake. Apparently the insurance at the time only covers fluoride just once a year and they didnt catch that and gave it to our children any way. Now first, I used to work for 6 years in Dentistry and I know that the fluoride only costs maybe 10 cents per child. Secondly, this is their mistake. I didnt ask for it and was clear that if its not covered, dont do it. Response: NEVER once did they call me. I had to call them the first year and at first they tried to tell me it was xrays and I told them that the kids did not get x-rays then after ONE year they switched to it was fluoride. I just gave up but I will not pay for a service we did not receive or wanted. I gave up because of rudeness of the person who handles the billing. Its not worth it.

Theyve been spamming every single review place with good reviews. Attempting to cover up the real "bad reviews" I went here when I was 11. I have Aspergers Syndrome. which my mother talked over with them beforehand. They agreed to be kind to me and be gentle. They did not. They did not allow my mother to come back with me. They refused to listen to my mother about my high tolerance to medications, especially for sleep and relaxation. They pulled 2 molars that could have been repaired, they also did not tell anyone this. I was terrified when I got back there. Instead of attempting to calm me down, they proceeded to strap me down. This would be terrifying enough for a child without autsim, so you can imagine what its like me an 11 year old autsic child. Also because I would not open my mouth, the dentist forcefully pried my jaw open and shoved one of those things they use to hold open your jaw for root canals. Also as a punishment, they did not give me any numbing shots or gel. Nothing for pain, I was full Ill awake and I felt everything. Now here 9 years later, the idea of a dentist nearly brings me to a panic attack. So thank you dr snodgrass for mentally tramatizing a mentally ill child. You should have been shut down already for your abuse and torture of children. If you get this one deleted, I will just post another one. I will NEVER let this go. You will not get rid of me. I will let everyone know what you have done to me and many others. I dont want this to happen to another child
