I went to Dr. Nina Foleys office today with my jaw clenched and my hands tightly clasped; I was terrified. I have had an unbelievable amount of extremely awful experiences with Dentistry, to say the least. After meeting Dr. Foley during a presentation she did for a Hashimotos Support group I attended I knew there was something very different about her. My first impression was that this beautiful woman was unimaginably brilliant. She was the most well rounded, educated person I have met. Her passion and drive for what she offers is not close to being matched by any dentist I have ever known. I must admit that my standards were so low it wouldnt be difficult to please me but she and her staff went so far above and beyond my expectations I cannot stop talking about it. When I walked into the office this morning the second I walked through the door a feeling of peace and relaxation overwhelmed me. I was greeted by several beautiful people with kindness that even outshined their perfect smiles. I was addressed by my name at all times and was treated as if I were a guest in their home. The receptionist directed me to an electronic check in computer to confirm my information which was so much better than cramping my hand with redundant paperwork. I sat in the lobby for about 3 minutes enjoying the comfortably modern environment. When I was called back to my seat in THE CHAIR (what I used to believe was only made for torture) I was asked personal questions with care and consideration. Mrs. Betsy Welch, RDH, genuinely cared about my life and the details that only a close friend would have a caring ear for. She and Crysti Sullins, RDA, spent more time with me than any physician of any sort has ever offered. I did not feel an ounce of fear, anxiety, or discomfort. They must have taken 50+ pictures of every angle of my teeth just to be certain they didnt miss a spot. Of course they didnt charge me an arm and leg for these! This was the first time I started with tears rolling down my cheeks. Once Betsy and Crysti finished their exam Dr. Foley came in and took her time to explain everything to me. I have gone to multiple dentists this year so I know 100% for a fact that she was completely honest with diagnosis and treatment options. She answered questions related to conditions I have that most doctors havent familiarized themselves with yet. She has actually won awards for being the most educated (or continuing education) dentist in the state of TN! Well, go figure, this was the next time I had tears rolling down my face. I was so happy to finally find someone (and a whole group of "someone"s) whom actually was there to help ME! Once she was finished answering any and all questions I had and Betsy explained the cost of treatment with every possible option, I was escorted to the beautifully decorated conference room to sit down with Ms. Sue Erwin. She had already worked everything up for me with financial arrangements, plan of action, and did not force me to schedule my next appointment. She did not once make me feel like I owed them anything in return for their kindness and hospitality. As I was leaving she made copies of everything for me and put them in a lovely folder. Everyone said their goodbyes to me and I got to have that much anticipated Starbucks coffee with organic hazelnut creamer from the dispensary they have in the lobby! Overall, if you are considering becoming a patient of Dr. Foley and her office... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Time that is passing is time you could be having this experience and learning about how essential oils, and nutrition can positively effect your life and how to safely remove mercury and other toxins in your mouth! To be literal, it could change your life. I know it has definitely changed my perception of dentistry. I have a lot of work to do but I am completely confident that I am in beyond capable hands.

I have had to deal with multiple dentists over the last couple years between myself and my wifes dental issues. I am a simple guy who (call me crazy) likes to get things done right the first time. It is amazing how many horrific dentists are out here or dentists who are just out to promote some expensive surgery that you dont need or wont do properly. It seems like they would give a dental license to just about anyone in Tennessee. I price checked multiple places and while they were slightly more pricey than other places, for the quality of work done, the price is great. They were very nice and have a very experienced staff. Some of the employees there have worked with Nina for a decade. They are very team oriented and friendly which tells me a lot about them as individuals and as a group. Nina has been in the dental field for a long time and it shows in her experience. She came across to me as slightly cynical about other dentists. But who can blame her? She has probably seen a whole lot more bad dental work than I have and she has had to fix all their mistakes. Nina performed two crowns on molars on me. When she numbed my gums, I expected it to numb my whole face, but she isolated the nerves so well that even my cheek was hardly numb. Currently, I have temps in and they feel solid. My bite still feels perfectly normal as well. Dr. Ryan Jones performed a root canal on one of those crowned molars (I have deep roots). I was back at work the the same day. Im on day two and have almost no pain at all. I cant say enough good things about her office, I have already told my wife to cancel any further appointments she may have with another dentist and schedule it with Ninas office. Finally found a good dentist(s). Thank you Nina & Ryan! Ill let you all know how the permanents work out when I get them. ***Follow up*** Just had my permanent crowns installed two days ago. They feel like my real teeth. I was a little worried because of the other dental issues I have had with other dentists. A little tender, but the sensitivity is going away quickly. They feel solid too. They dont feel like they are going to pop out on me. Thanks again Nina & Ryan. I appreciated the check up calls too Dr. Ryan.

I have lived in Nashville for just about 1 year and have been procrastinating getting my wisdom teeth out. I had a rare 2 months with a slimmer schedule and I thought there would be no better time to have the surgery. I did lots of research on different dentists/oral surgeons in the greater Nashville area and decided to go with my gut and choose Dr. Foley. I couldnt possibly have made a better decision. At age 20, this procedure can seem like a daunting task, especially when living alone. However, alone was the last thing that I felt. From the moment I called inquiring about their tactical procedures and methods to the moment I closed the door after my post-op appointment, the team was nothing but extraordinarily helpful and empathetic. Anytime I had a question during the healing process, I was encouraged to call and my worries were immediately eased. Dr. Foleys hunger and ambition to constantly expand her education is admirable and evident in her flawless work. Danielle, who assisted her on the surgery and took care of preoperative procedures, was also such a pleasure and made sure that I felt as comfortable as possible before I was put under. If you are in limbo between choosing dentists, I would without hesitation recommend Dr. Foley Dental Associates to you. Clearly, I cannot say enough wonderful things about her team. Thank you so much to everyone who made my experience so organized and painless! Its so comforting to be surrounded by such outstanding professionals during a vulnerable time. Needless to say, I will certainly be returning.
