Okay, so because I am the kind of person that likes to get in and out I made my appointment on a day that I could get the earliest possible appointment time. Even though I made those arrangements I still found myself sitting in the waiting room for close to 45 minutes!! Finally, I asked the very nice receptionist lady if they had someone running late today and she replied, "no," and then I was finally call back shortly thereafter. The x-ray technician was very professional, kind and gentle (as this is not always the most comfortable x-ray) She did take an x-ray of EVERY tooth and once that was finally over I met with a dental assistant and then a dentist. Both were very nice , professional and kind. Once the dentist and consulted on what Id like fixed and was lead into the finance office where I met iwth a lady named Robyn. Now, from what I understand Robyn was only filling in at this location on this particular day. In any case, when I gave her a little push back on the pricing based on what I had read and studied on the Aspen Dental website I made the statement, I really dont want to argue with you and she sniped at me, "Oh but I think you do." I could not believe how rude this lady was to me! I mean honestly the work I was requesting was very pricey and perhaps she felt I couldnt afford the work and could therefore treat me poorly. Additionally, I ended agreeing to a discount on the work and promptly paid her half the cost of my procedure which amounted to just under $5,000.00. All of a sudden, she began referring to me as, "sweetie" and was very gleeful as if, she had made a great sale. The thing is, she DIDNT SALE me anything AND if I was not already so invested and confident in the other people I had already met with that day I would I have walked out on her rude self. At the end of the day, you can expect slow but good service. The second time I went back for a follow up i meet with the real person that actually works there in the business office named, "Stacy" and she was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend at this point Aspen Dental but, keep in mind I have NOT had any work other than that aforementioned in this particular review. Good luck and kindest regards!! :)

Rip off! money hungry trying to make up that you have a little gingivitis and need treatment. My sister had gone before me and they told her she had gingivitis and she was fooled into buying all this extra stuff like a toothbrush and even toothpaste and mouthwash. I am glad the first visit was only a consultation because after my husband came back with the same diagnosis as my sister and I, I started to get suspicious so when they offered my husband and I all the things my sister was tricked into buying because they said it was the only way to treat her I refused. They said it was my choice but that the only thing that I HAD to get done and that they could not remove from the charges was the fluoride treatment and that it depended on the hygienist to decide (not me but the hygienist)!!! Well still we made the appointments to come back. When my husband came back he proceeded to call me afterwards and say they could not do the cleaning because that he had progressive gingivitis and that he had to come back for a thorough cleaning more deep and that after insurance it cost over $900!!!! THIS WAS INTERESTING BECAUSE FOR THE CONSULTATION THE DENTIST DID NOT MENTION ANY OF THIS AND HE WAS THE ONE WHO DID A FULL EXAMINATION ON US AND SAID HE JUST SAW MAYBE A LITTLE GINGIVITIS FORMING BUT NOTHING A NORMAL CLEANING WOULD NOT FIX. Just by examining his teeth the hygienist diagnosed him but the actual dentist could not? Oh did I mentioned they had him pay upfront for a future treatment that he had not received yet? Anyway safe to say I am cancelling both our appointments AND ASKING FOR A REFUND!

With not having been to the dentist in quite some time I was very nervous about how uncomfortable the visit was going to make me feel. I have some insecurities due to my teeth and thought this was not going to be a pleasant experience what so ever but boy was I wrong. From the time that I walked in to the time that I walked out every member of the safe were amazing. They explain everything in depth so you know exactly what they are doing at all times. This really helped me relax and feel more at ease about the whole visit. Throughout the entire process I met many members of the staff and each one of them seemed genuinely pleased to meet me.While everyone was great, Penny was outstanding. She made conversation with me the entire time and joked with me. It was so nice to have someone that I felt had my best interest at heart. This whole experience shocked me to say the least because my appointment was their last one of the day at 5:30. They could have been cranky or just not really into it but they werent. They excelled in customer service and bedside manner all of which are key to a good experience. Overall, the whole appointment was amazing and now I am more confident in going back on a regular basis. Thank you Apsen Dental of Hermitage!

With my 1st time ever going to this dental office, I wasnt sure what kind of service I was in for...but when I got there, the front desk person was really sweet & friendly, I didnt wait too long at all. I got there early and about the time my original appt. was, thats when they were calling me back. Well her friendliness must have rubbed off, because all other staff I met after her from beginning to end, were very nice. And one of them had even mentioned that that day was longest of the week and they were a little tired but still treated me w/the courteousness of first patient in the morning. I recommend them to anyone wanting nice, courteous, professional & low-cost dental help - Thank you Aspen Dental!

I have honestly never experienced such amazing care and service by anyone ever. From beginning to end, everyone I came in contact with greeted me with a smile and just genuinely seemed to love their jobs. Even the intern (his name starts with a j) comforted me the whole time and really kept my anxiety about being there at bay. The hygienist was such a sweet soul and i didnt feel judged on anything in any way. Which i was most nervous about!. The dentist and nurse that did the procedure were so down to earth and personable. I felt right at home! I honestly can not brag enough on the staff here and my experience. Will definitely be a long term patient at this office. - Amanda Phommachack.

My initial exam was great, everyone very friendly and kind. My 2nd visit for actual work done was probably one of the best Ive had in many years. The dental hygienist was sweet, empathetic and let me have some control over the procedure being done(my comfort level). She explained everything she was doing and made me feel at ease with the procedure. She also "numbed" me up so I did not feel any pain at all. Yes, I felt her working on my teeth, but it did NOT hurt. Ill have my second procedure in a couple of weeks and will not have have any issues. Non-judgemental, this is one of the best dental offices I have been at in many years.
