I called them to see what i needed to do to schedule a WIC appointment. The first women had no idea what she was talking about. There was alot of obnoxious talking in the background i could barely hear the women i was talking to and she was laughing and yelling right along with them. She told me she scheduled me an appointment on Thursday jan 23rd. Well i got home to write it on the calender and the 23rd is a Saturday. Then as soon as she told me the date hung up. I found the whole situation to be extremely rude. I will be calling a different wic office in the morning. I do not reccomend this health department at all!!

When I called for the first time to receive health care services for my children and myself, I was polite over the phone. The receptionist who answers, was a woman who spoke with a mean tone, very straight to the point and dont ask more than one question or else..... Even when your trying to be nice and just want to be a easy going person to become a patient with them. O well, just have to go somewhere else.

I called to make an appointment for a health check-up, and was told that they do not do that for adults. I was confused because the public health clinics back home do, so I asked a few questions. Even though I said please and thank you in a nice tone, I was hung up on. I was shocked, and very disgusted.

The nurse I had was very polite. She made me feel extremely comfortable. Although the clinic itself isnt visually appealing, I can see they do the best they can for those who visit.

Needed a tetanus shot. In and out in ten minutes. Nice folks. Good to know people are providing these services for those in need.
