I hate to see the bad reviews Dr. Dhar & her staff are getting. I do get where patients feel like she is not listening to their concerns & the nurses do tend to talk over you, but I think the nurse talks out of habit of covering silence or awkwardness maybe. It can be a little frustrating, but she is very sweet & caring. As far as Dr. Dhar not listening, I think she understands symptoms a lot quicker than we give her credit for & she does have a busy practice & is busy. I had back problem too where was hard to stand up & she told me also it was inflammation & would go away. I too thought it was more serious, but it did go away in about 3 days. There are countless other times I felt like she didnt understand or listen to me, but what she prescribed or told me to do, worked. I have been seeing her for about 15 years, even since moving from Smyrna, I still drive out of the way to see her because I trust & like her, and most of her staff. I think the office has suffered a bit by not having Michelle working as much, but she needed to move up in her career & am very happy for her, though miss her tremendously! If you are new patient, give them a chance & Im sure youll be glad you did.

She referred me to a GI. Doctor for a colonscopy, so I go to the GI get a appointment scheduled for my colonoscopy. Not only did she put off the paper work that needed to be filled out to get the colonoscopy for a week, but then I receive a phone call from her office saying she wont fill it out. Then Im on the phone with her non helpful employees for one full day trying to find out why without any answers and no help from anyone in her office I call and cancel my colonoscopy, now she wants to fill out the paper work. Worst doctor and staff I have ever been to or dealt with in my whole entire life and Im 34 so Ive seen plenty.. Im getting a new doctor and I will never go back to her again id rather die.

Dr. Dhar is a great physician, but the APN and other staff covering while she is out is the worst! They are very rude, not reliable, and did not help me at all! I suggest only going there when you know the Dr. is present because apparently no one else there cares. I hope Dr. Dhar seeks other employees who are competent enough to handle situations while she is away. I have never left a place feeling as bad as they made me feel. When I pledged to help others in my field, I took that seriously. I hate that those staff members did not do the same. From one doctor to another, I hope you find a better group of people to uphold your brand!

Dr. Dhar has been my physician for little over 8 years now. I chose her first of all because she was just around the corner from where I worked. As the years have gone by I still see her every three months and now I have to travel 30 miles one way just for my appointments, but I will gladly travel that far to see her. She has a great personality and bedside manner, she always answers all of my questions and does not try to hurry me in and out. I love the girls in the office (Amelia, Michelle & the lab tech Leah they are awesome) This office has always rated an A+ from me.

I have no idea how she has received any type of award.....she treats her patients as lab rats!! Even for a common muscle relaxer, she will prescribe a med that i have never heard of, even the pharmacist said they ha no idea what the med was and had to look it up...and this is at EVERY single visit, she pays no mind to what you say your symptoms are, she just makes a diagnoses on her own assumptions...DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Doctor Dhar does not need to be practicing medicine. She ordered an O and P to diagnose Pin worms. The pin worm in not included in an O and P. The test for pin worm is different. When the O and P came back negative she refused to treat my son for the worms even after she was told we could plainly see the worms. I had to take my son to another doctor to get him treated for pin worms.

They do not prioritize their patients unless it is severe. I went for my back pain and she claimed it was just inflammation. Inflammation cannot prevent me from standing up! My physical therapist told my my tailbone is dislocated. They dont seem concerned enough about your issues. They always assume its nothing. Im changing my primary care provider ASAP

She is not very concerning to what is wrong. I am getting a new doctor asap. She will seem amazing the first visit...and actually listen, but after that..she dosent give a damn. And the nurses will talk over you and try to finish your sentences. Just shut the hell up and listen.
