I ended up at Spring Hill Eye Care with my oldest daughter because we wore American Optics Solar Eclipse Glasses (not ones that were recalled) and weve had eye pain and blurriness since. Im one of those overprotective mothers. I am very very good at making sure my children are safe and comfortable. I do my research before I do things. If I had known that wearing eclipse glasses at all and looking at the eclipse for less than a minute TOTAL over different 10 second peeks I wouldnt have done this with my family. We will never watch an eclipse ever again, except on television. In order to deal with our situation Spring Hill Eye Care went above and beyond to make sure we were my daughter was comfortable in the process. They booked an immediate appointment. My daughter wasnt uncomfortable whatsoever. The staff was great with children and very knowledgeable in the field of eye care. Theres a reason why they have so many good reviews. Spring Hill Eye Care already knows that the only thing that made me sad was that they dont take TN Cover Kids for medical purposes, only for regular eye appointments. Maybe one day they will..... ;-) Thank you for taking the time to calm my nerves and for advising of the status of my daughters vision following the issues we have had with the NASA approved Solar Eclipse Glasses. Cant wait to return soon for future appointments! Care Credit Note: If youre skeptical to do this, dont be. Yes it does go on your credit report, but the peace of mind that you dont have to pay everything up front and you can charge it and then pay it off in increments is great. I love that you can use the Care Credit card for family and for many different medical provider locations. Kudos to Spring Hill Eye Care for providing this.

My kids and I are now faithful followers of Dr Rob (and Dr Hearn) for our family eyecare needs. They and their entire staff are professional, personable and fun! My kids really enjoyed getting their pre-school eye exams last summer during their 2013 Back-To-School Childrens Trunk Show. It was during this exam that Dr Rob discovered an interesting "eye anomaly" in one of my kids, involving the optic nerve. Even though it was at the end of an extremely busy day for all of them, Dr Rob did quite a bit of additional testing on my child, putting he and his staff leaving way past their closing time that day. They were all so kind and patient about it--which helped this momma be not so worried about the new findings. In the end, Dr Rob referred us to a pediatric ophthalmologist for further testing, who confirmed his findings. Fortunately, our "anomaly" is more of a optic birthmark, which is helpful to know for future healthcare but Im glad to say will probably not cause any issues for my child in the future. :) Thank you so much Dr Rob for your competent knowledge and diligence with this diagnosis. YOU ROCK!!

Ive been to Spring Hill Eyecare for three annual exams now, plus going back to have my contacts fitted. Dr. Szeliga is very friendly and seems very well-informed and professional. He also explains things very clearly. His staff is always so nice. They are located in downtown Spring Hill, with plenty of convenient parking available behind their building. I would definitely recommend them.

Wonderful friendly staff. Wonderful doctor who really listens to your concerns and is fun and cool with kids. Helps the kids relax and not be nervous. Very nice clean office and nice to have a separate area for sitting and another area for looking at frames.

Everyone here was fantastic! They got me and my 3 kids in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They were even able to get my Aspergers child to allow dilation drops in her eyes without a complete meltdown. That is priceless to me!
