Today I Brought my Children into your office, I absolutely love the Drs there both of them they are very knowledgeable and very patient oriented however upon completing my childrens appointments they needed glasses Judy was extremely rude refused to accept me telling her that I wanted the glasses that my insurance covered, she even told me that the glasses their insurance covered are not safe for children trying to get me to buy the more expensive ones that are not completely covered on their insurance, she was very rude and even argued with me about it, in front of other customers that were in the office. I have never felt more humiliated in my life I was very angry that the fact she was blatantly arguing with me about what is best for my children to make a sale, If the glasses you are selling under their insurance are not safe then why are you selling them? I have never had an issue with them before like this I have been a customer of their for years but after this incident it really makes me rethink my decision about this location. I also brought my daughter in for a replacement pair of glasses today and Judy refused to give me a Drs note for her for school as well even though she was brought into the establishment to get glasses. This was the worst visit ever. Judy really needs to learn customer service is and what respect is and how not to make a parent feel the way she did me. I will be contacting corporate as well to let them know my experience today. Because her behavior was inexcusable.

My entire family was recently seen at this location and we were all please with the doctors. However, the staff we were not so much pleased and think they are after the all mighty dollar. Judy helped me with picking out frames, but immediately took me to the most expensive frames because my insurance had more benefit for those. However, it did not cover all of the frames. Then she basically lied and said I HAD to get progressive lenses. I could not afford these glasses and instead of offering a bifocal, she told me I could just pay bay half now to get them made and when I came up with the rest of the money I could pick them up. REALLY?? I believe I need these to see. She was very hesitant to give me my prescription which I took elsewhere to get my glasses. My husband had to ask for his prescription and was also met with resistance. They told him that they kept it on file. People are entitled to their prescription. One of my children needed glasses and it was going to have an out of pocket expense. Again, I had to ask for the prescription. We went elsewhere for those glasses too and funny how there was no out of pocket expense. This place is a rip off. Trying to force to pay more for your glasses and they do testing to bill your medical. Never had that before and wont happen again. Bye bye.

There are too many places to buy eyeglasses, for me to ever go back to Eyecare Plus in Columbia. The transition lenses do not work on my glasses, and when I called to ask about getting this fixed, the very first statement out of her mouth was "Sorry, maam, there is nothing we can do about that." She talked over me during every sentence I tried to speak to her; she kept repeating possible reasons for lenses not working after Id already said they didnt apply (not being in direct sunlight; not waiting long enough for lenses to turn; high temperature/humidity). Finally she said it might be my prescription (my prescription hasnt changed dramatically since my previous pair of transition lenses, which worked wonderfully) but that she couldnt say for sure, because she didnt have my chart. I asked her why, if the prescription wouldnt work with transition lenses, they wouldnt have told me instead of selling me such an expensive feature. She repeated that she couldnt say, because she didnt have my chart. When I asked her to get the chart, she said it wouldnt be any use, because the lens technician wasnt there. Ridiculous double-talk on top of a no-can-do attitude from her first word.

The Columbia location has many rude and unhelpful staff members. I went in there needing a replacement contact to get me until I was able to come to my appointment. I was unable to see at this point because I did not have a contact. They not only refused to let me purchase one but cut me off mid question and were very rude. I have been an eye care patient there for many years and, before this awful staff took over, they were always helpful and kind. I wasted a lot of money and time at this place and needless to say I wont be back. If you are looking for a eye care place in Columbia do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! You will be disappointed in the service, selection, and price if you choose this location.

This place is over ran. People that use to be here for years are now gone. I have been told by many former employees that they do not treat their staff well and no training of any kind. I use to like coming here but now I feel like a number. All they want is MONEY. Do not give them your medical insurance card. They will find every way under the sun to charge medical claims to it and as long as you sign their forms you are liable for ALL costs per their billing. They are rude and hateful now and the employees look like they are working is hell. I wont be back. There is a new doctor in town. Im going over there next time. Dont waste your time on this place. Not worth it.

I had a great experience. I think the best part is the friendliness of the staff. The secretary/nurse Nikki helped me get the best discount with my insurance. Also, another worker helped me pick out some frames that work good with my head. The doctor and the person that initially examined me were also super friendly. Overall a great time. One minor thing I would speak against is the selection of the frames, but I was able to find some that I like after about 10 mins or so. Keep up the good work.

I would like to say that the sevice I received at Eyecare Plus was wonderful! The staff members and doctor was wonderful. They have a great selection of Silhouette frames at a reasonable price. The staff was very knowledgeable of all products that they carried and I even was able to do an Optomap instead of dilating. It was very excellent experience.

I had my first visit at Eye care Plus on Tuesday and Dr. Mallory was amazing! I was very impressed with the staff as well...Choosing my frames and ordering was so easy, everything was explained to me in detail. I will defiantly recommend to my friends and family!

Amazing staff! I couldnt imagine taking my child anywhere else. He has been wearing glasses before his first birthday. The doctor explained everything to us without us having to ask many questions. He loves this place, which means alot to us!

I have gone several times and I feel like the current Dr. Mallory does not have enough experience to be working at a high volume place as this. I have been unsatisfied everytime I have gone and do not plan on going back.
