Felt like when seeing Dr Landreth that he was constantly trying to "sell" something. I saw him a few times and then had a Lasiks surgery procedure. After the surgery I was charged for post operative check ups which Ive never had done to me before by any doctor ( I talked to the dr who had performed the surgery (McCarty) and was told I was not suppose to be getting charged). On one of the post op visits, I was charged for being put on a certain type of machine. I asked the associate which machine I was being charged for because I hadnt been put on any machine. The associate informed me that Dr Landreth had put it on my file that I had.I tried to fight the bill but only got penalized for an over due balance. This Dr has no scruples or values and will take you for every cent he can. BUYERS BEWARE !!

This is the most incompetent eye center I have ever been to. The center is very out dated and the staff does not have a clue as to what they are doing. I have never had problems with glasses or eye Drs until I came here. They cant seem to properly cut lenses. The glasses I bought for my son are bowed out from the lens not being properly cut and installed. Their solutions was to heat and bend the glasses. That last about two hours if you are lucky. Im out a lot of money, and my son is stuck with glasses that he cant wear. Now I have to go buy him new glasses from a different place, which will cost me more money.

Do not go here if youre very nearsighted. They act like theyve never seen that before. I came in with my own frame to order lenses, and the person fitting the glasses took FOREVER just to get a price for me, and along the way tried to tell me that the frame wouldnt work with my prescription. (Ive been wearing the same frame for years). They also require full payment up front, rather than a deposit -- never heard of that. This means if something is wrong with the lens, you have no leverage to try to get it corrected.

My name Scarlett Reed and I am Dr Landreths patient. I always have great visits there. I was in the office Wednesday at the Tuscaloosa location, and was called into the back within 10 minutes of my arrival. Dr. Landreth came in my room soon after. He checked my dry eye syndrome very throughly and took pictures of my eyes because I have growths on them. He is a great Dr. and makes you feel very comfortable. He also is well learned in his field. I throughly recommend him.

Very dated equipment and facility. They did not even have the machines I saw at my previous eyecare doctors for many years. Ordered contacts and took 5 weeks for them to get back to me. (After 3 weeks, I called them and they said the person who took my order never put in the order.)
