After referencing my insurance coverage, I was made aware that Moore Eye Clinic was within my network. Last year, I visited Moore Eye Clinic for the first time to get new eyeglasses. Bea, an office staff member, worked with me for almost two hours to find the right pair. She also explained all of the possible upgrades on the eyeglasses with pricing. A year later, I am still happy with the pair that I chose and the experience that I had. I was recently due for a contact eye exam. Because I had a good experience previously, I chose to return to the office for this procedure. The entire office is clean, bright and friendly. I was brought to the back almost immediately for my exam. The office had both standardized and progressive eye exam tools of technology. The office staff member who had worked with me explained all price upgrades for the exams on each of the machines that was not included. Dr. Moore was professional, informative and thorough. He was patient throughout the exam and took time to explain my current eye health and prescription. He also went above and beyond to explain the contact brand options that would work well with my eyes. After the exam, I was told that Dr. Moore preferred me using trials of the new prescription prior to ordering. I appreciated this long-term because it ensured that I felt comfortable in my new lenses. Since getting to know this office, I will not go anywhere else in Tuscaloosa. I have recommended Moore Eye Clinic to co-workers and friends within this area.

Terry and I have been seeing Dr Moore for several years, as well as most of my siblings,(5) and he saw my mama before she passed on to Glory Land!! He and the entire staff are AWESOME! Recently I acquired a vitreous detachment in my left eye. WOW they were on top of things getting me in asap!! Dr. Moore and the staff made it very clear to me how important it was if ANYTHING changed suddenly with my sight. I had some issues and yep they got me right in again on short notice. He loves his patients and treats them like family as far as I am concerned. Very professional place. Why he even took to Destiny on his birthday a few years back!!! Need a eye doctor?? Dont you dare go anywhere else!! Sorta like the Kabota Tractor commercials"dont you buy no ugly tractor"-well "DONT YOU GO NO WHERE ELSE TO GET YO EYES CHECKED"!!!!

Dr. Moore has been my eye Dr for 20 years! I think I was 13 the first time we used him. I moved away for a couple years when my husband was in the Military... I saw a military ever Dr one time and it just wasnt the same, after that I made sure to schedule appoints with MY eye Dr when I knew I would be home for a visit. My husband, and kids, brother and many friends use him also, and we all love him and the staff! They are always helpful, and informative, and though they take their time, they are really quick and efficient in a way that never makes me feel rushed. One of my favorite things is that Ive never ever had to wait longer than 10 minutes for scheduled appointments. Even when they "worked my son in", we didnt wait longer than 10 - 15 minutes. Highly recommended!

The resaon i rate with all stars is because back when i went to other clinics the service of one was horrible and the prices of the other was off the charts. The honest care and time the people take with you at Moore is remarkable. Please let me not start on the prices, for great glasses that fit well and are stylish they come at great prices to me. This place helped me and they will even let you know what frames look great or horrible on you if you ask and to be honest that is what eye service is suppose to be like. I recommend anyone to use their service please try them they are some nice people.

My family and I have gone to Dr. Moore for over 20 years. Consistently, he has been friendly, attentive, and caring. I have very dry and sensitive eyes and he always takes time to examine them and explain the best options for care. Over the years, he has upgraded his office with the best technology - he doesnt even have to dilate my eyes because of the equipment he uses during routine eye exams! He also has a huge selection of trendy frames to choose from. The staff is also always very friendly and helpful. As long as I live in Tuscaloosa, Ill never go anywhere else.

I highly recommend paying Dr. Moore a visit if your in need of glasses or contacts. I have been to several different eye clinics in Tuscaloosa over the years and this one is better than any I have visited. He has a very friendly staff at the office and Dr. Moore himself is a very down to earth and humble person. He is also very thorough with his eye exam itself and my vision has been more crisp than ever. My family and I will continue to see him and we highly recommend others to see him as well.
