Horrible service, unprofessional and very rude! This place does not care about their patients, they only want to try to get you to spend more money. Angela tries to upsell and push patients into buying items they dont NEED but she tries to convince them they cant live without whatever she is pitching! We went in March 2017 and not only did they tell my near-sighted daughter she was far sighted after an appt that lasted literally 2 minutes but they also never gave us glasses we ordered over 3 months. When we called to tell them we still havent received the glasses with the upgraded lenses Angela told us we had to get, they rescheduled our appt to today (June 15, 2017). We went in and they came up with a totally different prescription since we told them over and over our daughter is Near-sighted so magically they came up with a near-sighted prescription. When we told Angela that we just wanted a copy of the correct prescription and a refund on the upgrade we didnt want from March, she kicked us out of the office because I looked at my daughter prescription and took a picture of it since Angela refused to give us a copy. THIS place is ripping their patients off (or should I say CUSTOMERS seeing they dont look to help their patients, they just want to figure out a way to make us spend more money). Very unpleasant and I will be calling my insurance company and the local news to report this place. I asked them for their HR dept phone number and they refused to give it to me telling me if I have a problem, we could call their office and they dont have an HR dept. If you want good service and to actually be able to see, stay away from this place and find another Dr Office that cares about their PATIENTS!!!

I went to Pensacola a few years ago when I was in town, and had the best experience ever with Tina and Jennifer. They answered all my questions about insurance, they helped me find the perfect frames, and taught me how to use my contacts. The doctor was great. So when my daughter lost a contact while visiting, I made an appointment for her here, remembering the great customer service. I was extremely disappointed. The wait time was bad, and the people working were extremely rude. The girl got frustrated when my daughter said she wanted to be put in a particular brand of contacts, and we just wanted a cheap pair of glasses for backup only. We were literally told "Fine, do whatever you want", and then walked away from. You need to go back and get all the people that were there 3 or 4 years ago, and have them teach the new people what service really is. I have told several people in the area of my experience.

Dr Stein was referred to me by my insurance a few years back. Before him I would go to another office that every year would tell me something different and I would see a different doctor. Im very grateful I was referred to Dr Stain. Him and his staff have always been very kind and helpful. My last visit, Amber was the tech who did my prep work before I saw Dr Stein. She was very polite and we shared stories about our wonderful families. Angela helped me find the right glasses for my face, which is a very hard job since I dont care for glasses. But she took the time to help me get a light frame and lens so that my glasses would be more comfortable wearing. Over all I dont believe 5 stars is enough for this office. Without a doubt Im sure Ill be back.

We have been there for 4 family members in the last year and have been disappointed every time. The Dr. Is great but the office staff especially the glasses tech Angela is rude, very unprofessional, and not the brightest bulb. She acts like she has never had anyone come in and use VSP insurance. Angela also has too big of opinion on what the customers want or need or what looks good. I would not suggest going there. They changed there address and failed to notify clients even when I made a new appointment, I wasted my time driving to the old place.

DONT GO HERE! So I went there because I needed a new pair of glasses and the optician at the time (some fat guy) told me they took my insurance and everything was covered. Turns out the optician was a sheister. He charged me for Crizal lenses to give himself a nice fat commission that WERE NOT COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE PLAN and they tried to send me some outrageous bill years later, and a collections notice. Dr. Stein should be ashamed of this trickery. I will not pay, nor will I ever go back!

Terrible, not very friendly and I am sure because of my insurance (medicaid) I did not get very good service. I couldnt see out of my glasses because the lens were cut incorrectly. I just continued to wear my old glasses until I had the money to get a new pair and pay for myself. I wasnt about to go back after that even to get corrected, because it would have just been a continued trip back!!! less than a year ago-Robin Kirksey

I wouldnt even put one star, but I feel that I must write something. The dr is nice, but the staff was mean. They also told me that I couldnt go back with my daughters who got their eyes checked. They said the room was too small. Which it wasnt. Then said that I had to be escorted to go in exam room. They took my children without telling me they were going in there. They seem very secretive, and controlling

I have been going to Dr Stein for 4 years and have received excellent service throughout. They have worked with all of my children and myself and shown great patience when we take forever picking out frames. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Not very friendly employees, act like its a bother to help you and the products are horrible. They cannot cut lens correctly, I know a few people that ordered glasses from them and the same thing happened to them....lens cut wrong and couldnt see properly.

Dr. Stein is a wonderful doctor and his staff is very friendly and helpful I got new contacts and glasses, Angela help me find a pair of glasses that fit me and took her time to make sure I would not have any problems with them, I wont go anywhere else

Angela is a crook and sounds like a used car salesman. Gave my daughter the wrong prescription twice and refused to sign them because they would let the parents watch the exam. Also refused our refund and threatened to call the police
