I have been looking for a doctor for years who is able to bridge the gap between what the traditional medical community tells us and the many other areas of alternative medicine that are often ignored by them. Dr. Pho fits the bill exactly, as it is obvious that he keeps abreast of all the latest health research on his own, without taking it spoon fed from his local friendly pharmaceutical company rep or from the American Medical Association. His recommendations on eating a low carb diet, along with his nutritional supplementation plan, has effectively cured me of my painful arthritis and low thyroid condition that I have suffered with from over 7 years. Other doctors wanted to prescribe me a pill or expensive treatment that would usually just treat the symptoms, but not the root cause. Dr. Pho did something unique, in that he actually listened to me, and then he made suggestions on how to change my diet and lifestyle in order to reduce inflammation in my body. The results have been life changing for me. Would highly recommend Dr. Pho to anyone else who has been frustrated with the traditional medical establishment and their inability to provide them relief!

Absolutely horrible experience. I needed a primary care physician and decided to try Dr. Pho because of his positive reviews online. However, I never saw the doctor. Arrived at my appointment for a wellness visit 25 minutes early(was instructed to be there 15 minutes early) to fill out the new patient paperwork, but there was no one at the front desk. 5 minutes before my appointment time someone finally appeared and gave me my paperwork. I filled-out, returned, and waited for the doctor (now 5 minutes past my appointment time). Apparently while I was waiting my appointment slot was given away because over 30 minutes past my appointment time I was told it took the front desk "time to enter the paperwork into the system" and I would have to wait. Was at the doctors office (after fasting 12 hours and leaving a newborn infant at home) over an hour before I finally decided to leave. I checked all my insurance information in advance and was early to my appointment and still received this kind of treatment. Would never recommend and would not go back. Select a doctor who values you and your time as much as their own.

I read a review by someone who had to wait a long time. I can see why this bothered her as I would probably feel the same way. However, my story is so completely different, I felt I needed to share it. I also arrived very early for my appointment. I was immediately provided the paperwork and filled it all out. Doctor Pho came to the door to call for me much earlier than my appointment time. In fact, I walked out of his office, after my checkup, 3 minutes BEFORE my appointment time. The primary reason I was interested in seeing Doctor Pho is because he is a doctor who is much more interested in helping people be and stay healthy than just try to prescribe drugs to mask symptoms. I enjoy the way he explains things and I feel that I will improve in overall health with him as my Doctor. If youre tired of being prescribed drug after drug, to only mask your symptoms, then you should visit with Doctor Pho.

I have to say that Dr. Pho has become the only doctor that I actually want to visit. His staff is always pleasant and very helpful. I prefer going to Dr. Pho because he cares about his patients health and wants to work with you to do the right things, not just prescribe medications because thats what everyone else does. He will work with me on alternatives and monitor them, so that we get them right. He discusses my options and together we create a plan to get me where I need to be. It has been an excellent experience having him as my primary doctor and I honestly dont know what I would do if I hadnt started going to his office. I highly recommend Dr. Pho to all friends and family and anyone ho wants to truly get healthy.

I cant say enough about Dr. Pho. Ive said before the best Dr. Ive ever had, now 44. Hes an excellent listener which I appreciate in a PCP. And I love most his holistic approach. As Ive said on previous reviews, he finds the underlying cause and doesnt look to simply treat the symptoms from the cause. Im about to move 20 miles from here but will not be changing Dr.s.

Dr. Pho is concerned about wellness. If you have a medical problem, he treats that very competently. But our relationship goes far beyond that. He has coached us to eat much more nutritiously. He carefully analyzes our blood and cells to recommend supplements. Im an active 78 and feel great. He deserves a lot of credit for that.

Dr Pho actually listens and explains. I did not feel rushed like I generally do at a doctors office where if the appointment takes more than 5 minutes, the doctor makes you feel like you are wasting their time. I was impressed at his desire to get to the cause of my issue and not just look at how to alleviate the symptoms.

Dr. Pho is very interested in keeping his patients healthy -- in preventing illness. I have osteopenia, and he takes blood samples to insure that my nutrient balance is best for good health. He takes time to talk to me and explain why I should eat certain foods and dietary supplements. My osteopenia has actually improved.
