Worst experience ever. Happened to me exactly one week ago: Horrible doctor, horrible experience!! Ive just come from Surgicare Austin where Dr Asfouri was to do an important procedure to determine if I have cancer. This procedure has been planned for over a week, and he has had my entire medical history as well as ALL THE MEDICINE Im on including Plavix in since last Monday (its now Tuesday of the following week). DR. ASFOURI CANCELED THE PROCEDURE WITHOUT ANY NOTICE!! He could have called me last week to reschedule, he could have gotten the okay from my cardiologist to proceed, he could have and SHOULD HAVE done all of this BEFORE I was laying on the gurney with an IV in my arm, prepped and ready to go! Instead, he waits until all of this is happening to tell the anesthesiologist to tell me hes CANCELING MY PROCEDURE! He didnt even have the decency to come and tell me himself! The worst of it is, we had JUST had a discussion about my chronic bladder sensitivity, and I had asked him (as the nurse asked me to) to please prescribe me an antibiotic for after the procedure (as other docs had done throughout my lifetime), otherwise I would definitely be suffering a UTI a few days post op. He became angry and defensive, telling me he WOULD NOT be prescribing me any antibiotic or any other medicine until he saw proof of my UTI! When I became upset (any woman knows how excruciatingly painful UTIs are and I was attempting to prevent it), he got angrier and started urging me to cancel the procedure for that day and to seek another doctor! Im convinced he canceled my procedure today because he was visibly furious with me for daring to ask for that antibiotic. Its a horrible doctor that wont listen to his patients, and I know exactly how my body would have reacted to that invasive uterine procedure. I was scared and vulnerable, and this doctor decided to berate and abandon me. In my opinion, he violated his Hippocratic Oath. Doctors take an oath to "First, do no harm." and I was definitely harmed by this judgmental jerk of a human being today. Im STILL suffering the effects of his dismissive, self-righteous actions. He dropped the ball, and he acted vindictively and wrongly. I still need to find out if I have cancer or not, and he callously ditched his promised responsibility to operate, diagnose, and submit for biopsy his findings.

Dr. Asfouri is one of the sweetest Doctors I have ever had. They are very flexible with appointments here, the front desk is always very friendly, and the nurses are always available and responsive to inquiries. You can tell that he really loves what he does and cares about his patients. Ive never had to wait over 5 minutes before they call me into a room. A well-deserved 5 stars for Dr. Asfouri and his team!

My experience with this Dr was a horrible one. I could not get him to understand how severe my morning sickness was and how it was effecting my life. I received very little support emotionally and physically. I decided he is not the doctor for me nor will he ever. If you are suffering from morning sickness that is severe, hes not going to understand your needs.

Very nice, honest and intelligent Doctor ( also a high risk and yearssss... of experience and thats a plus!) with a good bedside manner and Care about his patients. I Drive an hour to see Dr. Asfouri. He delivered my first baby and it was a good delivery . Going to see him again for my 2nd one :) even my husband agree how great he is ! Highly recommended.

Dr. Asfouri was very professional & put me to ease with my yearly exam. The office visit was quick & to the point & Dr. Asfouri took as much time as I needed to answer any of my questions. I found office staff to be very friendly. I would highly reccomend this Dr.
