I love going to this place for my hrt appointments but today was the worst experience yet. They sent me to a guy who obviously didnt seem to know what he was doing when asking for info before drawing blood. He drew my blood, asked me to sign and sent me to pay at the front desk. As I was waiting in line to pay he rushes out to ask me to come back to ask me if I have insurance before sending my blood to the labs in Dallas and when I said no, he takes me back to the front to ask the receptionist if she could fill me out a script to take to Quest Diagnostics to get my lab work done. I know about the rules of not having insurance but this was completely unprofessional of this guy. Not only does he decide to ask after drawing blood, the receptionist doesnt even know how to fill said script, then he doesnt stick around to acknowledge his mistake, and I get treated like I should have known better. Dont get me wrong, Keith is a great doctor as well as the lady who saw me prior to my California trip but his other staff seem insufficient in what they know, like they just act on a whim about their business. Not a good business practice. I wouldnt have mind all this had he told me before drawing my blood, these are things paients need to know beforehand not afterwards.

Be aware that HRT patients will be charged $150 and they will not work with insurance even if your insurance covers it. Also this is a deductible first place...you must pay your full deductible before they will use your insurance. I have nothing against the doctors here and have heard good things about them but the communication from the office is bad. Very bad. Their website also needs to let patients know ahead of time about their practices concerning patients with insurance...as I was told they accepted my insurance when I set my appointment up initially and there was no mention of paying the deductible up front and no mention of the $150 fee for HRT. I even asked over the phone since I had been warned prior. I agree with the lady before me who said shed rather go to Austin. Its a drive but at least they wont break the bank or demand you pay your deductible up front. Cant wait for our own clinic to open its doors down here.

Initially really loved Keith, but when my son needed a refill of a medicine that is not safe to quit cold turkey and we had no way to get him to an appointment, he refused to refill it. Ive been there before when hes been really busy and he told them to just refill anyone who needed one without seeing him, but he wouldnt do it for my son. My husband has terminal cancer, another fact he knows and now my son who is suicidal has no meds to keep him stable. His lack of concern for my son coupled with his lack of compassion or understanding for the situation is very disturbing. I now have to find a new doctor, without a car or bus access, and keep a close watch on my son and pray he doesnt have a break. Definitely do not recommend this facility.

Mr. Keith Wichinski was able to assist and find the right medications to treat my loved one who has suffered of a behavioral health condition for ove 6 yrs. First of all thanks to God for guiding us thru this and second thanks to Mr. Wichinski, now my loved one is moving forward in live with successfull accomplishments and new goals. very sad when we found out Mr Wichinski was no longer at this location. We are now at a different facility comes to be because we found out the hard way that only a Dr can sign certifications on behavioral health conditions for any agency to eligibility determinations. Another downfall was the problem to be able to reach someone on the phone. other than that we were pleased with the practice. .

I had actually been seeing Keith for a few years, I never had much of a problem until they moved next to San Antonio College. Now they cancel appointments in part due to obvious bad office communication. If you call them they will never answer your call and never return calls after you leave them the nicest message. And to top it off they wont work with you when the billing comes up. Now I know the usual patients his place attracts and what they may deal with, but Ive never given them an issue always paid my bill by or before my next visit. If I had insurance, I wouldnt have kept going back. And now, I dont care if I have to bus it to Austin. This place is not worth it. If you have insurance find a decent place, not here.

I made an appointment two weeks ago for their new Boerne location. When I called to make the appointment, the young lady I spoke to was LESS than professional. When I showed up for my appointment today, I was told they had already left for the day. What?!? I tried calling, only to continuously get their voicemail. So far my call has not been returned. Very disappointing, especially after the good reviews Ive read about Keith. Hes not going to make it in Boerne...if he wants to, hes going to have to get better receptionists to meet the needs of the clientele hes hoping to reach, and actually show up to his SCHEDULED appointments. Im sure its not his fault...his receptionist was atrocious!

Thankful beyond measure to this facility. KEITH is the most caring professional Ive come across, and his continuous care has already made a huge impact on my life. Also, YVONNE who works in the office seriously goes above and beyond to assist patients with any questions or concerns that they have. She always gets back to me with urgency and care. Shes a genuine person who Im sure does a lot more than shes required. While most places will brush you off and leave you with a headache, I trust that once Ive brought up a concern to Yvonne- it will be handled. Thank you guys for changing my life and giving my the best experience every single visit!

Worst reception Ive come across. Its very difficult to get a hold of Dr. Wichinskis office though he himself is a good doctor. Even if you try to leave a voicemail its full. Emails are hardly answered and if they are, its three months later. Even my pharmacy cant get a bloody hold of this place. Staff is a little rude. But its the only place I can afford my hormones at, so theres that, I guess.

i am very glad i was referred to nurse practitioners . Dr Wichinski saved my life by diagnosing my breast cancer he sent me straight away for a mamagram ,if i had waited much longer I. probably wouldnt be here now. They are fast,friendly,& very professional . God Bless all of them K.Lyssy

The new lady who runs the office is excellent!!! Keith W., should be congratulated for finding the best of the best! I highly recommend this practice and the office experience could not be more stellar! Congratuations and keep up the excellent customer service and medical service rendered...Again, thanks for caring about your patients!
