I was extremely disappointed in the care I received from Dr Burgess. The prescription for my contacts was incorrect and he refused to re-evaluate it instead insisting that I try yet another brand of contacts. I had already tried four different brands over the last month and really liked the feel of the Air Optix I was currently trying. I mentioned that I felt their was a problem with the prescription at all of my appointments and was told that it would be addressed as soon as we found a brand I could work with. The new brand he wanted me to try were back ordered and not expected to arrive for over two weeks. I asked to try to adjust the prescription on the current brand I liked, which was refused. I finally had to get my insurance company to step in on my behalf to get my benefits back and go to a different doctor. Overall I spent five weeks working with the doctor and staff.

My most recent experience, as well as all others prior, was as good as it gets in a physicians office. Dr. Burges staff is always welcoming, friendly, and efficient, and Dr. Burges is beyond exceptional in my humble opinion. He truly CARES about his patients as individuals and makes himself available to them 24/7. I feel fortunate that my aging vision is in his capable hands.

Fantastic service from the entire staff, very attentive and always willing to accommodate. We have been going to Dr. Burges for 10+ years now, and even though we have moved and live over two hours away, we still go back for our annual appointments. We also do not have any sort of optometry insurance, and we find the rates for check-ups to be very reasonable.

She was seen by Dr Burgess, he explained how to cure the problem, and it worked. She said she would definitely return to his office.
