My son had been crying and saying that there was something hurting in his eye, so naturally I took him to his Pediatrician. They referred me to Dr. Cory K Nguyen. I got there and my son went through the standard procedures; puff of air in the eye, standard eye exam, etc... She then gave him some drops to better exam inside the eye with her equipment. Her final diagnosis was that he had allergies that were building up on his eye lashes and causing irritation to his eyeball. I explained to her that it didnt make sense to me that he would be in so much pain over allergies, but she reassured me that there was nothing in there. Furthermore, she told me he had stigmatisms in both eyes and was farsighted. I paid my standard co-pay ( $50 ), purchased the prescribed eye drops and eyelash wipes ( another $50 ) and she told me to come back in a year to get glasses. The next morning my son woke up and couldnt even open his eyes and would not stop screaming. I took him to Houston Eye Associates in the woodlands to get a second opinion. The final diagnosis was that he had a metal shard in his left eye. Also, they said that his vision was just fine; no stigmatisms!! I was furious... had we listened to Dr. Cory my sons eye would have probably been shredded to pieces. NEVER TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE... BEWARE OF MISDIAGNOSIS!!!

The doctor and staff here are super nice and very welcoming. The doctor was very helpful in educating me about my vision and teaching me about proper care for my contact lenses, as well as cleaning my glasses. The staff was super nice and did a great job of helping me out with picking a good frame that fit me and my style. The price was right and the service was fantastic! I would definitely recommend my friends and family to True Vision.

I have not had an eye exam for the better part of two decades and I could not have felt more comfortable or welcomed at True Vision Family Eye Care. The building is spacious, clean and very inviting.
