I just LOVE Dr. Bull. The facility is very luxurious, more so then any doctors office Ive ever been in and being a cancer patient Ive been in many from coast to coast. But, that doesnt make up for the services you receive other then it cost more then any eye specialist Ive ever been too, I suppose the extra perks (I.e., coffee, cookies, bottled water) all cost not to mention the waiting massage chairs. All the preliminary testing I felt like I was being shuffled through without any explanation of what was next or why we had done the test we had just completed. The one thing that saved me was Dr. Bull was very informative, our visits were very short in an out, but I did get information I needed. After the appointment I decided to go look for a nice pair of designer sunglasses, I didnt get approached, I had to go request someone to help. I was looking for the NEW style by COACH, all I got was looked down on, with a response of ..... Theyre in this section, ok maybe I wasnt dressed to the nines but that should have no baring on how one is treated, I was sent across the street from the cancer treatment centers of America after testing etc... you dont feel up to getting dressed as if your going to a black tie affair. I was very upset and disappointed in the way I was treated while trying to purchase my $200.+ sunglasses.... Guess next time I will have to be in my Sunday best if I wish to purchase something. Dr. Bull is an amazing doctor, she managed to find the problem and help me save my eyesight. Just wish she spent more time in the room so we could discuss the situation and I could ask all the questions I wanted too. The wait time isnt bad, not real long but I feel as if I were looked down upon, as if I basically werent good enough or dressed well enough to be there. I felt very out of place, I went several times and finally I had to ask the center to transition me, because each and every time I felt like a big fish outta the water.

Shannon Glass, yes. At least you were told before you went in. Ive been going here since 2009. I always had a vision exam and a medical exam, since they said they were concerned I was getting glaucoma. Last year, I had them book both appointments on the same day so I wouldnt have to drive in two times, I live an hour each way. My vision screening was first and then the medical exam. Worked great! I asked for the same for this November. When I called to confirm, I wanted to be sure it would be done the same. She said I could talk to the dr. When I got there, the young lady who did the initial screening started to dilate my eyes and I asked about a prescription exam. She said to talk to the dr about that. I didnt get the glaucoma test which I thought was unusual. Then Dr. Williams saw me, looked in my eyes, dictated something to the young lady, then said your cataracts are not very big. Youre good to go. I knew had the beginning of cataracts but it was the glaucoma that they always were concerned about before. I asked about the prescription and his reply was to go to another doctor because he would have to charge $60. Like I wouldnt have to pay another dr. anyway! So I asked why no glaucoma test. He asked how long since I had been in, even though my chart was there. I said a year. He said oh I guess we had better do that. It was like he never read my chart or knew why I was there. I was never told they didnt do routine eye care any more, I had to figure that out from the below par service I got this time. I have always loved this place but it sure has changed. Maybe if you have some kind of major problem, they would still be a good place. I just wish they had told me before hand that they didnt want to see me any more so I could move on. I have made arrangements elsewhere for future care.

Although I feel like Dr. Dyer did a good job handling my case, her bedside manner was lacking. The two times I was in her office I was either in the front waiting room, the back waiting room or the exam room for well over three hours total waiting time. When Dr. Dyer finally came in the exam room for my consult on my first visit and procedure my second, she was short to the point of being rude which made me feel like I was just one in a crowd of people being herded past her that day. To add insult to injury after my procedure Dr. Dyer walked me out to the waiting area, told her employee at the front desk that I needed to schedule my follow up for one week and needed my prescription stamped. After standing there for a few minutes I was asked to sit down and told I would be taken care of in a moment. I saw that the young lady at the front desk was busy and as a nurse, I understand how overwhelming working in a busy doctors office can be, so I sat down thinking that I would be taken care of as soon as she checked in the people she was helping. 35 minute of sitting with a patch over my left eye in the front waiting room, I finally walk up to the front desk and told the young lady that I needed my prescription and would have to call back to schedule my follow up as I was now late for picking up my children. Needless to say, I followed up with my PCP and told her about my experience and hope she takes it in to consideration before referring anyone else EyeCare Associates of South Tulsa.

Ive rated them with five stars because they truly deserve it. All of interactions with the staff at this location has been tremendous. I originally went to see them last summer about getting my vision checked and a new lens prescriptions however; while I was there, I was cheerfully escorted from room to room for different types of tests that no other vision center did. Today, when I called to see about scheduling an appointment to have an Eye Puffer Test that my primary care physician asked for, the person who answered the phone was able to schedule me in today around lunch. This is incredible because most doctors offices have always or are now implementing a one-hour lunch business closure. You would do well to visit them. They also take just about every kind of insurance too and if necessary, work out a payment plan for whatever work you need.

These folks are awesome! Dr. Dan Langley did my cataract surgery in April. If youve been told you need it please dont put it off. Have your optometrist give you a referral. Talk with EyeCare Associates about the option of the post-surgical drops being put in at the time of surgery. I took advantage of that am glad I did. My insurance covered the basic lenses but I was amazed to find that they had corrected my vision to 20/20 combined with mono-vision. I had no trouble adjusting since Id done that with my contacts for years. I can read the finest print, see how to shave, watch TV, drive...with no glasses or contacts and Id had to wear glasses since I was seven years old. I feel like I have a new lease on life at age 67! Many thanks to Dr. Langley and his associates!
