This star was only given to be able to make this statement. The Dr. is very rude and inappropriate! He asked me to leave his business after he raised his voice at me for asking questions. I had an appointment and once I arrived that I would have to either pay $4500 out of pocket or meet a deductible of $3000 for my medical insurance to have my eyes examex because I am a diabetic. I first asked why I wasnt told this prior to the appointment being made and I then called my insurance to find out what to do next. He interjects that "are you here for glasses or contacts" I told him I was unsure, depending on my need. He then goes in to tell me, (as though he was annoyed by my questions) that I had only those 2 options and what was I gonna do. I finally told him how offended I was by his attitude and the way he jumped into the conversation without me even really knowing who he was really disturbed me. After a bit more convo from me in regards to his behavior, he tells me to leave, he has the right to refuse service. In all, all I wanted was an understanding of the services being rendered since I was unaware of a difference in them. Hes RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and would probably do much better working with animals since he cant appropriately have conversation with humans

Seriously, this has been one of the worst experiences Ive had at a vision center! Not only were they trying to charge me $100 more to get some sunglasses that I already had into glasses (because I thought it would be cheaper) but they also didnt want to give me my prescription for my eye exam that day because "the doctor needed to finalize the prescription." They also were trying to charge me for a "mandatory 30 day fitting" for contacts because Ive never worn contacts before. I asked several friends who have contacts and they told me that if anything the fitting is optional but they never had a mandatory fitting for contacts. Another thing is that while I was in the exam room, I had a friend who was waiting out for me in the lobby and over herd how the staff was over charging some of the customers. I later went to Wal Mart to get my prescription and payed $150 less than what I would have paid at 24/7 vision and thats without using my insurance. They seriously are only looking to make money. Really disappointed in this place. If they had 0 stars I would give them that.

This is one of the most unprofessional place ever! The office manager made a mistake and was willing to work with us .. But FYI this clinic doesnt offer refunds , Im glad she owned up to her mistake but if a patient isnt happy with the Customer service they should get a refund . Not to mention the doctors attitude trying to snap at me , yelling at me as if he was some teenage kid and couldnt talk to me in a professional matter I work in retail as an ASM and I wish they had a corporate office! I was very upset on how the "doctor / owner" approched this situation . My father was willing to pay and just leave it at that because he was so frustrated. if the owner and office manager didnt have an attitude with me I would of payed them their 270 ... But no one in customer service should talk or treat anyone like that ... So Ill be taking my business to Lens Crafters or VisionWorks at NorthPark Id rather spend my money and time at a professional and friendly Clinic.

My husband took my son for his very first check up and he said the staff was very RUDE and the Doctor was the worse one. He was very unprofessional and hostile towards my son during the exam. The doctor became bitterer when my husband informed them he would not be buying glasses from them. I STRONGLY recommend you go somewhere else. They try to pull a fast one on you by trying to sell you a package and tell you that your insurance do not cover it. Lucky this was not our first rodeo and we know what we can and cannot get( I have 3 other kids that wear glasses and I do to). Make sure you know what your insurance covers if you go. I will be sticking to my optometrist of 5 years from here out. I just wished he was open when I needed him for this sons check up. Wouldn’t even be giving a half a star but had to give them one in order to post. .

This place is a hidden gem! I really enjoyed my experience here. I read previous reviews to try and make my decision if I should come or not. I am so glad I came! From the time I came in, the warmth of the office wowed me. The doctor and staff were awesome. The staff was a little busy with other patients, but they greeted me as soon as I walked in! I liked that. The doctor took his time to answer the questions I had. I liked that too. Their eyeglasses selection was really affordable and they had some really cute frames! Im really glad I decided to stop in to get my exam and glasses here.

They scammed me Let me start by saying that part of my dissatisfaction is due to my ignorance but they did not tell me that my problem with my eyes was a health insurance thing and not a vision thing untill its time for me to check out and they tried to charge me $180 for some eyedrops and to take pictures of my eyes. Oh and that are going to charge you 4x what your prescription glasses are worth. If you must, just go here to get your eyes checked then get your prescription from amazon. You can get name brand glasses at a quarter of this 24/7 prices.

My mother went to get some glasses and they made her pay $240 just for cheap eye vitamins, eye lid wipes, and pills for dry eyes. They didnt even give her the glasses she requested. When we went there were a few Mexican women complaining about how they couldnt understand why they were paying for things that were unnecessary and irrelevant also. Please dont go here. There are other Optometrist offices in the Oak Cliff area that are respectful, honest, and sincere people that arent trying rip off their constituents. STAY AWAY!

This place is Amazinly Awesome!! The staff was really really friendly and couteous...I am a diabetic and my sugar was dropping bcause i hadnt eaten and i had No money to eat and the Doctor that first priority was to get some food in me and he gave me the money to go get food so that my sugar wouldnt drop me!! It was just heartwarming, the level of care and concern he showed me...The place is extremely clean and such a beautiful and comfortable environment!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

The Dr was detached and in a rush. When I asked what he was doing and what was wrong with my eyes it was difficult to get any info out of him. It felt like i was rushed in and out given several medications and shown the door. I asked for my records so i could know what was wrong and was told I would have to come back or they could be sent to me. I arranged to come back when I did they were not ready and they wanted to charge me $50.00. Overall a very cold uncaring visit I will not go again.
