I waited until the end of the day to write this because I wanted to give myself time to give a balanced account after a negative customer service experience. First the good - the location is easy to find, the facility is tastefully decorated, and the receptionist is responsive to phone calls. Now the bad - customer relations are simply missing to the degree that I would prefer to pay an extra $50 than undergo this experience again. Im a new medical grad, although not familiar with dental protocols having not gone to dental school. I had a question for the receptionist regarding two of the consent forms Valley View Dental requests patients to sign. The forms were blanket consent for disclosure of personal health information and didnt indicate who information would be disclosed to. Next thing I know, a man (possibly also reception) had come from behind the front desk indicating that I must sign the form in order to be seen. This is all completely fine so far, but then things took a bafflingly ugly turn after I asked if they could please indicate a specific consent to a particular agency instead of a blanket consent for everyone interested at the offices discretion. The man accused me of not wanting to sign because I have a police record or (what??? never even got a traffic ticket). Then, a woman who I presume was the dentist ran out of her office and angrily asked "Are you a doctor? Are you or arent you a doctor?" (medical doctor, dental training is a different degree and unfamiliar with their forms). In the end, I simply decided that in this free market, I would prefer to take my business elsewhere. The issue was that this dental office preferred to communicate inappropriately. Having received patient relations training, I know its never appropriate to indicate a patient may have a police record either in private AND ESPECIALLY in front of a waiting room with other patients. Misrepresenting a blanket consent form as a police-specific consent form is also inappropriate. The correct action would have been to say weve never run into this question before, we dont know. The dentist later called my number to apologize for her behavior (perhaps sensing a negative review), but Ive just NEVER had an experience like this and felt it deserved a review. The office is a private business, and they likely have not received patient relations training required to operate in their field. The result was an unexpected, public, and deeply negative experience. Make of this what you will.

There are not enough positive adjectives to describe Dr. Irina Hayrapetyan and everyone who works at the office (a generic "staff" simply cannot be used for this group of great people, they all feel like good friends!) Ive been a patient for several years, and during this time Dr. Irina treated me for a whole spectrum: from something as routine as a regular checkup and cleaning to the most complicated extraction and dental implant - and I can say there is nobody else Id rather trust with my teeth, she is excellent! In addition to being obviously a great expert in her field and committed to staying on top of new developments in dentistry, Dr. Irina is very warm, kind and genuinely caring about her patients! The office has all the latest equipment, too! I have to praise Dr. Irina on another aspect that some other reviewers also commented on. Before I met Dr. Irina, I was so used to dentists pressuring you into a dizzying number of procedures, sometimes going as far as insisting on root canals or crowns on healthy teeth and charging exorbitant amount of money, that Dr. Irinas honest, ethical and health-based conservative approach was such a welcome (but initially almost startling :-)) change! Dr. Irina always has a patients best interests at heart, and it always shows!

Been a patient more than five years now and consider still travel to receive treatment there once I move to a different state. Dr. Irina is incredible. Shes a talented and extremely well trained specialist, and has the knowledge of the both worlds: she knows how treatments are done in US and overseas. That has been extremely appealing to me, in particular, because Im brought up being used to a more conservative approach. Dr. Irina is very understanding and caring and she will fight to the end saving your tooth. I really recommend her laser jet tooth cleaning- its amazing. Dont forget to ask her to add a layer of fluorine - its believed to give your teeth additional strength. Also worth mentioning, Dr. Irina works with really good lab- they make exceptional crowns and implants. Im very happy to have found Dr. Irina. I really recommend her to any of my friends.

Dr. Irina and all of her staff are incredible. Every visit with them is always an A plus experience. Dr. Irina is an extremely thorough, comprehensive, and expert dentist. I feel very comfortable with the dental care I receive because she takes care of me and my teeth like I were a member of her family. The scheduling is always excellent and each and every visit I feel like I receive individual and personalized care. The staff are all very professional and courteous. Dr. Irina treats me and all of my family members including my children and everyone feels so comfortable going to Dr. Irina. I highly recommend Valley View Dental and I wish other healthcare professionals would learn how to treat patients with dignity and respect just like she does.

Ive been bringing my family to Dr. Irina for the last 4 years. The staff has always been very warm and friendly. My kids enjoy the play room where they can play with toys or watch a movie while they wait...even though the wait is never that long. Dr. Irina and her assistants have made getting my kids teeth cleaned as painless as possible. They are always at ease when they go in. All of mine and my husbands experiences with Dr. Irina have always been very comfortable and pleasant. She is a great professional, very much committed to the satisfaction and comfort of her patients. I would highly recommend Valley View Dental. My family will continue to come here for years to come!

Ive been a patient here for along time and have never been less than completely satisfied with the care. I always pop in and pop out. Very straight forward and not looking to have me spend on work or things I dont need. Its a very efficient friendly office, the staff are wonderful too to spend time with and make the cleanings a pleasure. Dr. Irinas care has always been exceptional. Wonderful dentist, great assistants and welcoming atmosphere. I used to be afraid to go to a dentist due to my previous experiences. Dr. Hayrapetyan changed it totally. She is very carrying and always explains everything. My whole family is using her services and we all are very happy with the results. The office is clean and neat, with nice and relaxing music.
