My mom went to this place 2 months ago for a routine cleaning. She said that they cleaned and scrubed her so hard that that was the start of major pain in one of her wisdom teeth. She went back a month ago after this same wisdom tooth was causing her too much pain, and received some of the worse dental service I have ever heard of. The doctor was too rough with the extraction, the tooth cracked into multiple pieces. The dental assistant was too rough with the water and suction, so much that my mom had to push him away because she couldnt breath. All the way the doctors are silent with no word of whats happening or what theyre doing. But heres the worse part: my mom did not have enough anesthetic, and the whole process was painful, but she felt like she couldnt say anything because her mouth was stuffed at all times. The doctor yanked out the molar and from what she tells me it was the worse pain of her life! She said that she felt she was going to have a heart attack from the pain, and tears were pouring out of her eyes. But as soon as the process was over both the doctor and assistant walked out with absolutely no words. Let me be clear, from start to finish neither person said ANYTHING to my mom. No explanation of the process, no reassurance of anything, no "how are you feeling," no "is this causing you pain," no NOTHING! Even when they clearly saw her crying after the procedure, there was zero concern for her well being. They did not ask how she felt or anything, simply walked out of the room. Even the nurse who came after only gave her a paper handout with follow up instructions, and thats it. She left the room and they still had the audacity to ask her to fill out a review of her experience there. Her mouth was swollen, she couldnt talk, and she left crying because she was still reeling from the tooth extraction. DO NOT GO HERE.

I do not recommended this location to anyone. I have only been here and have decided after they fix what they started I will never comeback. Each time I have came I have had an appointment. I am sitting in the lobby now with an appointment at 4pm appointment. They take non-appointments before the actually appointments. They may as well do first come first serve. The front desk staff has a few rude people as well. If I have not already paid with my insurance and out of pocket, I would have stop coming. I stayed for an appoint at 4pm to 9pm once. Another time because I was demending a time, after a 4pm appointment and waiting two hours that when I go to the back I will be waiting a couple of more hours. I was just told there was one person in front of me who has yet to be called and 3 in the back, could I come back a different day. Again I asked about their process because I take off work to come her. A courtesy call to inform patients of the wait, why are walk ins going before appointments? I was told that they were all appointments. Lie. I asked why are all of these people scheduled at 4pm if there are only two dentist. She stated they are given time slots and told to fill them up. Meaning, get all you can and forget how the customer feels about it. I promise after they finish the work they started I will not return and will tell them so as well as lose my number. I am also contacting my insurance. I still have pain on a the side of my mouth that was to br a simple cavity but I will not have them look at it again. They did something to my tooth that was suppose to be a simple cavity. I am contacting my insurance and going to someone else as soon as possible.

WORST experience EVER!!! Will NOT recommend this place to anyone. My appointment was at 9am and they didnt start working on my tooth till 3:30 pm. This is my first time EVER writing a feedback on something so that should tell you something. I was told something else in the very beginning about my tooth. I dont know if the doc messed up. But it took them 6 hours just to tell me my tooth had to be extracted. I really think the Doc made a mistake because I dont think in the beginning it had to be extracted since I was never given that option I had X-rays on another day n everything seem fine till the doc started messing with my tooth even more. Everyone reading this please go to a different Dentist Clinic. Im actually taking some of my time off just to let everyone know about my experience because I dont want the same to happen to me happen to anyone else. The staff is not professional at all I hear them cursing in Spanish too worried about their Christmas exchange and what their going to eat for lunch. Only reason I have 1 star their restrooms are clean. Ya have a bless day and hope ya take my comment/feedback into consideration.

Wow, Im seeing all of these negative reviews, but I actually had a complete opposite experience. I was referred to this office from two of my coworkers, as I was looking to find a dentist asap to have a root canal done on a tooth that was causing me a lot of pain. After calling the office I was scheduled for an appointment within two days on a Friday afternoon. I was seen by Dr. Leslie Townsend and she confirmed that a root canal would be my best option. She knew that I was in a lot of discomfort and was so kind to fit me into her schedule the very next morning (Saturday). I have nothing but good things to say about this very experienced and friendly dentist. She is awesome!! She gave me antibiotics and Motrin after the procedure and I have been healing just fine. It is so nice to be relieved of tooth pain. Also the staff was extremely nice and Jennifer at the front office made my experience very good. Thank you all for being very professional! I will be back! Two thumbs up for Dr. Townsend!!

My experience is still on going but three days ago I got ALL of my teeth pulled at one time. Dr. Townsend was AWESOME. She had so much patience, calming voice, extremely caring. Even though the procedure took longer than most Dr Townsend never gave up on me and kept her positive and gentle nature. I can not say enough positive about Dr Townsend. She is AWESOME and an Angel ♡ The staff at Jefferson Dental Duncanville is so great also. Very professional, dont mind answering questions, and so pleasant every time Ive been. The assistant during my surgery was perfect. She even held my hand! Her soothing voice helped calm my nerves for sure. In my 53 years of life this dental experience was THE BEST for sure. I should have visited Jefferson Dental Duncanville years earlier. Thank you with all my heart Dr Townsend ♡. See you soon! Nina Martin

I have never been here before I just seen the take walkin on Sat. And I was in pain.. I book an appointment and I recieved three follow up phone calls.. From the time I walk in the door to the time I walked out I was treated with care and respect. The staff was very professional. The doctor was awesome and once I told him it was my 1st time having an extraction he made sure I was very comfortable throughout the entire procedure.. I am very picky to who I give my coins too but this place right.. I will be back and also with my children.. Great Job Staff!! M. VERDELL
