This dental office is great. I have finally found a dentist that I can stick with and they have a excellent discount plan if you dont have insurance. I had gone to Monarch Dental using a coupon recently for an exam and cleaning because I had lost my dental insurance and had to find a new dentist. They did the xrays but wouldnt do the cleaning because they said that I needed a deep cleaning which would be over 300.00. They gave me a treatment plan saying I needed 9500 of work including 4 crowns and 4 fillings. I have always gone twice a year for cleanings and always take care of my teeth so I knew there was no way my teeth could change that much in 6 months. I went to Carrollton Dental after calling them and they were so helpful and told me all about their dental plan that included 2 cleanings with xrays a year and deep discounts on all other services. I went in, didnt have to wait, the dentist took so much time going over my xrays and helped me to understand what number teeth were what and exactly what I needed. Bottomline all I needed was a regular cleaning, two old fillings redone, and a crown redone sometime in the next year, a far cry from 9500 worth of work. The staff was wonderful, the offices were very clean and updated and the dentist was very knowledgable, and the discount plan is a great deal. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I chose this dentist office because it is really close to my home and its under my Atena DMS plan. I read the bad reviews but decided to go in anyway as only angry, sensitive or over demanding people tend to leave bad reviews. I set my appointment during the weekday and had all my x rays done. I have not been to the dentist in over 2 years and I know I needed 2 crowns which I have neglected over time. They have the basic teeth cleaning which is covered on most dental plans then they had more intensive treatment. I needed the $89 treatment due to the plaque build up. Had I gone to the dentist every 6 months a basic cleaning would be suffice. The more buildup you get, the more intensive treatment a person would have to undergo which I learned the extreme is where you would have to have your gums cut open to clear out the plaque build up and it would have to be done by a specialist, basically oral surgery. I normally brush my teeth in the morning and before I go to bed but now I bought a Oral-B toothbrush they sell and rinse with Hydrogen peroxide/water. You gums are as important as your teeth!! My dentist was Dr. Richardson and my assistant I forgot her name but was very pleasant! I will definitely be happy to come back in the future and recommend everyone to check them out!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. They are inexperienced and do not have functional equipment. If I can give them zero stars, I would. I went there a couple of months ago and it was a bad experience. When I went to get a cavity filling, the water equipment that sprays to your mouth was not working. I thought they were going to move me to a different chair but that was not the case. They did the filling WITHOUT any water! It was painful and uncomfortable. They also took around 30 minutes for one filling. They truly showed how inexperienced they were because it looked like they were going to give up multiple times. When they finally finished, I knew that they didnt do a good job. I was right because within one month, my filling fell off and my tooth started hurting again. Do not trust the other reviews, try to avoid this dentist. And to put the cherry on top, they forgot to polish my teeth. I paid for both the filling and the polish and I was quite mad. I had to remind them and they did a half ass job. The outside of the dentist office is also in bad shape. There is trash everywhere. Do not waste your hard earned cash here. I definitely not going back

**RUN**If I could give 0 I would. I was advised on my annual exam if I did not agree to the "RECOMMENDED" $600 deep cleaning/gum scaling (that I had somewhere else 2 years ago and informed them) that they would not clean my teeth nor give me the whiting kit. They were serious. I was already told by the Dentist my teeth were fine and I had no cavities. I have already called my insurance to file a complaint and I will be contacting their corporate office. There is absolutely no reason I should be denied service for not wanting to pay them for services I may have not wanted or wanted a second opinion. I was told that is their policy and I also could not get my X-Rays.. **FRAUDS**HORRIBLE**BEWARE

Completely unethical practice. diagnose you with needing a "Deep Clean" ...AND... they wanted to put a crown on a perfectly good tooth that had a silver filling. I told them I would consider it, but I just wanted x-rays and a regular cleaning. They refused to do the cleaning if I didnt have the deep cleaning, Billed my insurance, and I had to pay out of pocket at another dentist to get my teeth cleaned like i wanted in the first place. If I could give them ZERO stars I would.....Beware of these guys, They will give you a Bogus diagnose you and try and run the bill up.

Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I came in with an immediate problem. Not only did they help me with that but they have me on a plan to prepare me to have the best smile for my wedding. They have been convenient and accomodating. They are more than just a dentist office, they actually care I have been through multiple dentists since moving to the area and have not found one that is willing to help me long term. Instead of making me feel bad about neglecting my oral health they actually want to help. Strongly recommend:)

I had an appt. for 6 mo. check-up w/ Dr. Kirk who is new there. My husband & I were both very pleased w/ her professionalism, knowledge, calm demeanor & reassuring way about our latest procedures. She explained things very well and patiently. The staff has always been helpful w/ explaining payment options, ins. coverage & scheduling options. Elizabeth & Barbara have been esp. helpful. A+ on this visit for sure !!!

I have been going here for years but the new young dentist does not know what he is doing. He wanted to work on teeth that did not have issues and when I asked to see it on the xray he said never mind. The tooth that I did allow him to work on was not in pain. Now it is and has a whole in it. I would not advise this place until they get a new dentist

Very friendly; I have always been able to make an appointment whenever I am able to come in and I never wait longer than 5 minutes. If I get there early for an appointment, they usually always see me early and Im in and out before my original scheduled appointment.
