The one star rating is for her Kindness.. I loved my first visit with Dr. Nickerson. She seemed to have a very kind and caring spirit. However, what Im disappointed in is the fact that I was sent elsewhere for 2 root canals and was not informed of what the next step should be. After I contacted her office informing them that my filling had fallen out of one of my root canals, I was informed that I needed to make another visit to her for a crown. The unkind, person I spoke with took it for granted that I knew dental procedures as if I worked in the dental field and also informed me that I was not in any pain (I wish she would inform my mouth). Interesting that shes a psychic as well as a receptionist. She stated that a crown is not always needed however she said she told me that I would have to have one earlier. (Confused???, So am I ) She also informed me that the price I would now have to pay would be no different than what I would have paid in having one dentist do all of the work needed, which now I would have to pay an additional $700, with one of the best dental policies. My biggest complaint it that, you travel to different locations for dental work and its obvious that you should have some type of dental training to know your next step because I was not informed. Not to mention you need to have excessive amount of cash available for each dentist. I felt like this was a rip off before I began this adventure thru dental Island However now I feel as if Ive truly been ripped off because Im sitting here with a hole in my tooth for which I came out of pocket at least $500 (insurance took care of the rest) and Im having to look for ANOTHER DENTIST to complete the work that Dr. Hamm ( the extremely painful dentist she sent me to) started of which who knows was suppose to complete it. I feel like Ive been to a used auto tote the note dealership, but........ She was kind

I went under Dr. Nickersons care about five years ago and received a crown. The crown started to break apart after only four years. I was surprized because the last crown I received prior to this one has lasted well over twenty years. These things happen and I understand that, heres the sad part. My husband contacted Dr. Nickersons office via email to get some information as to how long crowns typically last, if the crown might be defective, who manufactured the crown, could Dr. Nickerson contact out new dentist here in Washington D.C., etc. We received no response. My husband called Dr. Nickersons office and spoke with the office manager. The office managers only intent seemed to be to defend the appliance and blame its short life spand on my eating habits. She then said that she would forward our emails to Dr. Nickerson. We never received a reply. My husband called again, emails forwarded to Dr. Nickerson, still no response from Dr. Nickerson. Its been over three months, still nothing. I really liked Dr. Nickerson, but her lack of concern for a patient after she has been paid for her services, and the defensive attitude of her office personel should be considered before becoming a client.

I have had nothing but an enjoyable experience during my time under Dr. Nickersons care. Dr. Nickerson, her hygienists, and office staff are extremely professional, friendly, and provide excellent dental care. Although there are a plethora of Dentists in my area, I drive 20 miles from my residence in N. Dallas just to see Dr. Nickerson. I have seen Dr. Nickerson for around ten years. Highly recommend her practice to anyone looking for a new dentist in the southern half of the metroplex.

Ive been trying for 4 month get my record transfer to new doctor. Talk with her front and I told they was send to a Doctor in Desoto TX witch is wrong doctor office. Now I told they were email but they my new doctor never got them yet. I’ve talk with desk about pickup, email and mail them copies . Defensive attitude of her office personnel should be considered before becoming a client. I have file complaint with medical board in Austin it should take over 4 month get service done
