I would highly recommend finding another dermatologist in Abilene. They refused to file my claim with Blue Cross Blue Shield because the back of my card said Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City instead of Texas. They claimed that filing out of state was a hassle and they refused to do it when all they had to do was file it instate. Im not sure if it is just ignorance of insurance policies or just bad business. On top of this Dr. Landero himself was incredibly rude and dismissive of me when I attempted to solve the problem and outright refused to call the insurance company while I was in the office. Unless you want an incredibly incompetent doctor and office staff I would recommend finding another clinic. In the interest of remaining professional with my review I will refrain from calling Dr. Landero a whole host of applicable words and instead that he places no emphasis in professionalism and ethics. Please do yourself a favor and do not give him your business.

After years of looking for answers and seeing multiple specialists driving back and forth out of town, this guy knew exactly what it was before my biopsy even came back. Hes a breath of fresh air, hes young, very polite, very friendly, you can tell hes highly intelligent, he explains everything. Just an overall real nice guy, took his time. Beyond happy I didnt give up and decided to make an appointment to go in and see him.

Youre always gonna have some bad eggs in the bunch, and there is always two sides to every story. Ive had so much trouble finding a good dermatologist, but Dr. Keehan is super. Hes pleasant, practical, and thorough. His staff is great, too. He also doesnt seem interested in charging as much as possible, which is refreshing in this day and age. I highly recommend Dr. Keehan and Premier Dermatology.

Dr Patrick Keehan makes each visit an adventure. He is a very positive, happy man with an awesome sense of humor. He makes me feel comfortable even when nervous. He either never had a bad day or is professional enough to leave it out of the patients room. He has a great staff too!
