I am new to Harlingen and therefore needed a new Dentist. Naturally, I googled Dentists near me and went off previous reviews. Larry Franks had the best reviews, so after looking at their website, I decided to give them a call. They were polite and helped me with getting my xrays from my previous Dentist emailed over to them which, in turn, saved me some money. They were able to get me in the very next day due a newly vacant spot. As soon as you walk in the website and reviews prove to be true. Rather than a cold, sterile office its warm and feels comfortable. Like the website says "youll be the only one waiting and will be taken care of right away. I arrived at 9:25 and was taken back promptly at my appointment time of 9:30. The nice thing about is that they allow you to print off new patient forms directly from there website, so one can fill them out at their convenience. The staff is very friendly and all seem to work well together. As a first time patient the Dentist, Larry, goes through a very thourough and comprehensive exam and is happy to answer any questions or concerns. After the exam I was treated to a full hand wax similar to something that would be found to high end spa. I have never taken part in anything like a hand wax, so I was giggled while I dipped my hand in the perfect temperature wax. They also offer you a cold gel eye mask and it felt great. I was sat back down and then the Hygentist came in for my cleaning, but before we started she offered me an ipod with many different options. It was a cool, cloudy day, so I choose jazz which also complimented the very really relaxing atmosphere. Whoever picks the music does a great job. Miles Davis (one of my favs) was on the jazz selection. A few minutes into the cleaning, the Dental Assistant removes the wax and gives you a very nice hand massage with calming lotion and it felt amazing. So between the music, the already relaxing, spa like atmosphere and the hand wax, massage you forget youre sitting in a dentist chair. They mentioned that based on how much build up there is on your teeth that the price can very. I hadnt been in over 9 months, so I thought In would be paying the higher price. When I went to pay the bill and I was happily surpriesed it was the lower of the two. Everything about this office is great from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I felt calm and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend them to anyone. While our tenure exists in Harlingen, this will most definetaly be my new Dentist..

Wow, amazing. Amazing staff, amazing experience, just simply amazing. 1st off I used my VA voucher to go here so if youre a veteran, this is the place to go. 2nd, you dont have to wait months to get an appointment. Most of my appointments are within a day or two. 3rd, most people hate going to the dentist but when you leave here its like you went to a spa or something. They had me get the hand wax massage thing while I had my cleaning. Let me say I was amazed of how great I felt leaving there. Last but not least, I had issues with my temporary crown and I sent them a message. Within a day or two I had an appointment to get the issue corrected. I really love the customer service they provide here. I like how they text, call & email you about your upcoming appointment. Even when they send you out to another dentist they still send you a reminder about that appointment. The staff is just amazing here, they dont treat you like a number, they take the time to converse with you and get to know you. Amazing place to go, I highly recommend going here.

To-Larry Franks, D.D.S from Mr. H. Arnold, just a little thank you for all you and your staff did for me, you guys really helped my self esteem, how can I ever repay that? In my 55 years on earth, dealing with Doctors and Dentists, never have I been treated with the respect, courtesy, and comfort that you folks did, simply amazing, you can bet I will be referring you to anybody that needs Dental Care. OMG, most people think its a pain to see the Dentist, but you and your staff made it an appointment I looked forward too. Not too many people can say that. Give a shout out to Vanessa, you got a keeper in that woman, not to single her out,everyone of your assistants treated me like I was some kind of dignitary, just the best service I ever received, thats coming from the bottom of my heart. Keep it up, you have the best practice I have ever come across. Dr. Larry Franks dentistry has surpassed all previous dental experiences I have had with regard to customer satisfaction, patient care, concerns, hospitality & an overall level of satisfaction. Vanessa was very courteous and thorough in her examination and documentation of my dental history. She took more photos, X-rays and measurements of my teeth than ever previously done before. During my initial examination, Dr Franks gave me sound recommendations about my teeth and options for further treatment. Monika & Daniela were both very knowledgable and very professional. Finally, during my cleaning appointment, Vanessa gave me a hand wax massage... !! Talk about making a man feel like a king! That was my first hand massage and it was great. I left feeling completely satisfied with my treatment and Im already looking forward to my next visit. Another first for me. My experience at Larry R. Franks, D.D.S. Inc. has always been a pleasant one. I look forward to my Dental Visit because I know it will be a relaxing one. I have never experience a dental visit quite like this one. From the moment you walk through door, you are welcomed by the relaxing music playing through out the office as well as greeted by the helpful and friendly staff. It truly is a Unique Spa Experience, from my hands wax/massaged, my own personal choice of music plays through headphones, and a blanket covering me, all while getting my cleaning done. Absolutely love this place and would not go anywhere else! Everyone is extremely nice, patient, knowledgeable, comforting, and eager to help. Dr. Franks is a gentleman and is extremely intelligent. He will tell you exactly what you need and theres no smoke and mirrors. They offer a complimentary paraffin wax/hand treatment/hand massage to help ease your jitters while they clean your teeth! They offer sunglasses to help with the bright lights and headphones with your choice of music while they work to tune out the sounds of the drill. Ive never been anywhere better than here. My husband and I arent even in network, but we are clients for life!

Dr. Franks has a warm, friendly, and professional staff that goes above and beyond to make sure that you have the most comfortable experience possible throughout your visit. You will immediately take notice of the insightful details throughout your appointment that I, have personally not seen anywhere else, such as music to drown the mechanical sounds of your cleaning out, a snack afterwards if you should need any, and a paraffin wax treatment for your hands! I have only had Dr. Franks as my dentist and will continue to go visit him for my needs due to his extensive knowledge of Dentistry and comfortable visits.
