I READ THIS AND MUST SAY IT WAS EXACTLY THE WAY I GOT TREATED PLUS AFTER FINDING NOTHING SHE RAN TESTS UP FOR FOLLOW UP VISITS EVEN WRONG TESTS ..QUEST LAB ROLLED THERE EYES AT THE LIKES OF THIS MESS PLZZZZZ FIND A GOOD DOCTOR EV1 SHE SUCKS!!! was so insensitive or dismissive of my symptoms. She took one look at my "near normal" test results and refused to look deeper. If you are looking for answers from a caring, and concerned doctor. Dr. Shipman is definitely not the one for you. I cannot recommend her in any capacity. ...X2‎

She is straightforward, doesnt baby you and tells you like it is. If you want treatment for anything PCOS related, I recommend her. If you want your hand held and to be babied, I suggest another doctor. After she diagnosed me with PCOS, I lost over 50lbs with no surgery or diet pills - I feel amazing! She has great knowledge with this syndrome - I am so glad I found her. I must add that I foudn her over 5yrs ago... so I am not a newbie to her practice.

She’s a nice doctor but I only got to see her once. Her office staff is pretty rude over the phone and interferes with patient care issues that should be handled by her or other medical professionals. I wouldnt recommend them.
